SAM Rainsy Party Member of Parliament Yont Tharo filed complaints with the Ministry of Interior and the Phnom Penh Muncipal Police on Tuesday, imploring them to investigate his son's murder after a traffic accident on Sunday.
Yont Thauron was shot and killed outside a noodle stall near Wat Botum park just minutes after an argument that ensued after his car collided with several motorbikes.
The gunmen, who witnesses said were members of the police department, also seriously wounded three of Yont Thauron's friends.
Witnesses at the crime scene said that after the traffic accident, Yont Thauron and his friends exited their vehicle and ordered the motorbike drivers around them to kneel down and apologise, leading to a furious argument.
"Although my son made a mistake in behaving pridefully, he was unarmed and should not have been killed," Yont Tharo said.
Municipal Police Chief Touch Naruth said that police had already identified the attackers and were working to apprehend them as quickly as possible.

Cambodian People's Party Hun Sen Khmer Rouge Regime had committed acid attack.
"On December 5, 1999, Tat Marina, age 16, was severely disfigured in an acid attack in Phnom Penh. The attack was allegedly committed by Khun Sophal, the wife of a senior government official, Svay Sitha, because she was angry her husband had a sexual relationship with Tat Marina. Neither Khun Sophal nor those suspected of being her accomplices in the attack were brought to justice. Intense media publicity compelled the Phnom Penh Municipal Court to issue an arrest warrant for Khun Sophal for attempted murder, but the police claimed that they could not locate her, although journalists reported that she was living at home as usual."

TORTURE AND MURDER ON PRAK SITHA WHILE IN CUSTODY BY MISNISTRY OF INTERIOR OFFICIAL
Cambodian People's Party Hun Sen Khmer Rouge Regime had committed torture and murder.
"On the night of January 16, 2003, a street youth named Prak Sitha was beaten to death at the Ministry of Interior (MOI) headquarters after he was arrested and detained by off-duty MOI officers on suspicion of theft. His body - bearing numerous injuries to the head, torso, arms, and legs - was dumped at a Phnom Penh pagoda the following morning by ministry officers, in violation of police regulations regarding deaths in custody. No criminal charges were filed in connection with this death. In December 2004, the case was cited by the UN secretary-general's special representative for human rights in Cambodia - who stated that Prak Sitha died at the ministry "following beatings by a known police officer" - as an example of a "consistent and continuing pattern of impunity" in Cambodia."

"On September 4, 2008, Mean Sokchea, a RCAF major working in Brigade 70, shot dead 21-year-old waitress Put Samphors at a restaurant in Kandal province. Mean Sokchea, in a drunken stupor, fired his gun and apparently mistakenly hit Put Samphors in the stomach. She was taken to a hospital but later died of her wounds. Mean Sokchea was detained by the police overnight but was then released, allegedly after intervention by Hing Bun Heang. Put Samphor's family received US$2,700 from Mean Sokchea, and the police told them that their daughter was shot while authorities were chasing robbers."

Your judgement on the crimes were very poor. In constrast, people whom commited crimes must be punish harshly such as robberies, thief, assault, drive by shooting, domestic violence, rape; furethermore, the culprits will repeat theirs crimes, there is no doubt if the police left them get away. In order to reduce crimes in the communities, the
police must do investigation on the crimes, writring a report, having witness, searching evidence, then bring the culprits to justice.

I think there should be a permanent fund-drived organization to support high profile lawsuits to defend democracy in Cambodia. However, this organization must be serious and creditable at what they do. We must pool together to defend justice and to ensure that the future of our children will not exploit by this small group of people.

In Vietnam, Thailand, Loas, Burma have much more crime against humanity, human abuse, like Cambodia as well, but they don’t post for public viewer like Cambodia does. Let me ask you, if someone hit you with their car, and you said sorry, and offer o pay for damages, and the other guy refused and asked you to kneel down; as a man, would you do it? Would any of you fuckers do it? Then when he refused, the group of hot blood teenagers proceeded to beat him up, come on, 4 against 1, if I had a pistol, I would've defended myself too, wouldn't you? So don't blame the shooter, yes, he has violated the law, but if he were in the US, he would've have pleaded it as self defense and he would've walked anyways.
