Anupong: Peace, not war

Tuesday, September 29, 2009
Bangkok Post

Army chief Anupong Paojinda insisted on Tuesday that Thailand opts for peaceful means in solving border conflicts with Cambodia.

He spoke a day after Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen ordered his troops to shoot any trespassers along the disputed area and angrily blasted Bangkok's territorial claims.

Gen Anupong reiterated that Thailand will solve the conflict through dialogue at the Thai-Cambodian Joint Commission on Demarcation of the Land Boundary.

Thai soldiers will carry on their duties on Thai soil, and there is no plan to using violent measures, he added.

He warned those living in the area to be careful if they have to cross the border.

Last weekend, People's Alliance for Democracy protesters rallied at the disputed border area near the 11th century Preah Vihear temple. Dozens of protesters, police and villagers were injured in clashes there after security forces tried to obstruct the PAD from reaching the border area.

The protest was aimed to assert Thai sovereignty over disputed territory near the ancient temple.

What "joint border demarcation?" No need for a new demarcation agreement. cambodian map clearly shows where the line is drawned between the two countries

Demarcation of the boundary were made by joint effort by the French and Siamese mixed commission. Both Siam and France (caretaker of Cambodia) signed the treaty in 1904-07. It as signed by then HM Rama V and France. I think both King Bhumibol and King Sihanouk should sit on the same table oversee the signatories of PM Abhisit and Hun Sen over the existing treaty that clearly define the boundary between Thailand and Cambodia for the last 105 years.

sihanouk and bhumibol can't sit any more, remember? They probably need to lie down.

Bhumibol lost in court and he needs to move on. His ancestors Chakri robbed Khmers too much already.
Bhumibol has pneumonia and he is lying down right now.

don't you know.....Phumibol is horizontal now that is every part of his body and Sihanouk is half horizontal and half vertical(the bottom and between the legs part.)

Every neighbour need to respect each other boundary in order to keep its own citizen in place or otherwise if war occurs again, it will go into another chaos. We Asian nations need to find solutions for peace in order to protect our future generation from harm and finding ways to protect all individuals as well like; all for one and one for all and that everyone is equally important regardless who they are or where come from. Asian nation needs to create an international security net to protect everyone to may travel to and from each other country. We Asian nation must reach a common goal and common interest for the best of our society and when one nation needs help the rest must come together as one. We must use the system like European nations, creating a one currency of "Euro" or maybe we can call our currency as "Asiano or "Asian-mono".

Just start the war and have the Tuol Krasang destroyed and Khmer will be more stable.

Thai citizens, if you're reading this, please have the Thai Air Force and Navy aim at this compound, since this is the stronghold in Cambodia. There many underground tunnels, so don't forget to to use the bunker-busters arsenals to destroy the compounds.

We are counting on you.

Why bother talking with them since all it leaders one government after another government always said that "Gen Anupong said that all the border talks would be the responsibility of the Thai-Cambodian Joint Commission for the Demarcation of Land Boundararies".

HUN SEN must tell them to go back to Nunjao or Yunan!!

To AH New Phally

Only stupid peoples like you think that the CPP win election by 2/3.  When you cheated, you do not win.  Do you understand?  If you don't, what you can do is, go and ask your children.  They would tell you right or wrong.

Intimidations
Threatening
Steal Votes
Bring Foreigners from Veitnam to vote in Cambodia for Cambodian People's Party.
Use Dead people's names to vote for Cambodian People's Party.
Disqualified potential Sam Rainsy Party's voters.

International Observers declared that the Cambodian election doesn't meet international standard.

AH New Phally, when are you going to stop acting stupid?

You are making the CPP look bad.

Why the CPP's supporters are so stupid?

Can someone answer this question?

Perhaps, AH New Phally can answer this question.
