Kiet Chan Thouch, abbot and adviser to Great Supreme Patriarch Tep Vong in Preah Sihanouk, Cambodia, was said to have gone on a violent drinking binge over the weekend, attacking 4 monks, 2 clergymen and a nun.
Kao Suon, 76, is a monk at the same temple, and he claims "He ordered me to come out of my room or he would shoot me and lock me in the room forever." Kao claims the drunken abbot bit him.
Kiet has a reputation for getting drunk and beating nuns and priests in the past, but because of his position, everyone is too afraid to file official complaints against him, out of fear of repercussions.

OMG,was it real?. I told you monks are useless.They took advantage of the believers.Well, with free food and free shelters ,it's damn hard to resist this lazy life style.Everyone got fat from ben one to chhum ben.I STOP worship monks since i found out some of them are fake and involve in politic ,go online at night and surf for porn website.Some are outright adulterous.
These corrupted, crooked, drunkard monks should be kick out from the temple forever! these drunkard monks should be send to do hard labor works, like farming or collecting cow poops, why allowing these drunkard monks eating free and get drunk everyday and living comfortablely...?

There's alot of young people become monk now, because people kind da take advantaged on believers, too many fake monks, they live very comfortable, because oversea people pleu, keep feeding them and sending them $$dollars every month, monks in cambodia these day are wealthy, some monks had nice"lexus" luxury car, $1000.00 dollars cell phone, Sat.dish network Tv in the dome? monks got too much money and get drunk inside the dome...

Hun Sen must do something about crooked monks, drunkard monks and don't let them used religions for business, a lot of fake monks come here and get us citizenship and disappear....

You Cambodian people keep electing stupid people to run the Country , that's what you get . Stupid government and fake Monks destroy our Country and degrade our religion.
Only drunk monk like Keat Chan Thouch is acceptable to ah Tep Vong and ah Hun Sen. Ah Tep Vong and Ah Hun Sen only accept evil deeds and corrupt individuals.
Someone like the former Abbot Tim Sakhorn who only meant to help the poor and the helpless are unacceptable the Hun Sen regime. Kindness does not exist in Cambodia under the junta Hun Sen.
Hun Sen regime exists is to empower the few powerful and the elite--namely corrupt politicians, corrupt civil servants, corrupt army, corrupt police, and the business people.

i think the monk is so strict. i'm sure he has good side to him as well, but he is very strict in his religious belief, like the nuns in catholic church, that's how strict they are! have you ever enter monkhood? they are strict about what you can or cannot do, really. it's not for everybody, really!

Keat Chan Thuch said: I cannot chant if you hide my cognac and champagne. Give me back or I'll cry or beat the crap of you.
These two monks look evil in their eyes, especially, the one on the right, Hochimonk Tep Vong.
Just like 6:38am said, these drunkard monks can't CHANT without vos cognac and VODKA, that's monk breakfast....
It is sad to see that my beloved people don't have much or enough critical thinking skill to reason the matters. They always generalize the conclusion. For example, by seeing a few bad things have happened, they assume rest is the same. The same thing with these monks, only these few monks, why all monks are the same? it is not true. Please use your brain power to see the truth behind your ignorance.
