Thaksin and Suu Kyi: How can you compare hell with heaven?

Cambodian PM Hun Sen says Thaksin Shinawatr should get the kind of world attention that Aung San Suu Kyi gets.
That statement has inevitably become immediately controversial, for obvious reasons and the "uncomparable comparison" has drawn reactions from various quarters.
The most striking perhaps has come from former diplomat Surapong Jayanam who was once Thai ambassador to Burma.
Surapong usually doesn't pull punches when it comes to making his political statements.
So, when Hun Sen said he considered Thaksin as respectable as Suu Kyi, Surapong retorted:
"The difference between the two is like heaven and hell."
Do I have to ask who's heaven and who's hell?

Hey, The Nation! Be more professional in writing your articles. You’re always biased and hostile toward your neighboring country especially Cambodia and the leader, PM Hun Sen. No matter he’s good/bad and ex-Khmer Rouge cadre involved a jungle warfare, he did it for his country, but you should comply according to the code of ethic as a newspaper editor. People have read the letter that was sent to you from Cambodia Embassy in Bangkok and found that you’re so racist about Cambodians. Be more proficient or moral as an editor, would you?
The majority of Thais voted for Thaksin, and how could be hell?
How about the dying King of Coup, Pumipon?
He and his family have more than 30billion dollars, then they owned the counry owned Thais' lives, they are the powerful and their "lese Majeszty Laws" are to persecute the people of Thailand.
