Moeung Sonn, President of the Khmer Civilization Foundation (KCF) who fled to live in France, sent emails to several local news media, asking them to help publish documents and letter he sent to Hun Xen. The content of Moeung Sonn’s letter to Hun Xen is to ask the latter to push for a new trial in his case. Moeung Sonn was sued by the government for misinformation and incitation because he talked about the installation of light bulbs to illuminate the Angkor Wat temple. Moeung Sonn expressed his confidence that if a new trial is conducted in his case, Judge Chhay Kong will rethink his case. Moeung Sonn also asked the journalists to cooperate with the KCF to call on Heng Samrin, the president of the National Assembly, to change Article 62 of the UNTAC era criminal code so that this article of the law will no longer be used to prevent the freedom of expression of Cambodians.

Even if what he said were not true, the government is wrong to put him in prison for expressing concern and opinion as a citizen.

the words that come out from Mr. Hun Sen and his officials are the LAW and always true and official, all others are lies and misinformation.

Indictments to Mr Hun Sen and His associates:
The Hanoi PHDs of Mr Hun Sen military officials are clueless of the military strategies and planning.
Sok An and Sok Kong damaged Khmer heritage by installing light set on Angkor Wat's walls/ceilings.
Mr Hun Sen abused/abuses his power, even though he didn't mention Mu Sochua directly during his speech at Kampot, the content of his ranting speech implied no one other than Mu Souchua. On a similar incident earlier than the Hun Sen/Mu Sochua's case Mr Sam Rainsy said a similar thing about the KR leaders who are currently in power without naming the person(s). This led to the law suit by Mr Hor Namhong brought up against SR and the case was ruled in favour of Mr Hor in all court battle due to his title as FM of Cambodia, despite evidence clearly showed that Mr Hor was a high official KR leader at the time. In KR period you don't have to be as high as Mr. Hor, just a low ranking cadre you can take any 17 April people to kill.
Mr Hun Sen directly ordered the grenade attack on the peaceful demonstrators led by opposition leader SR in March 1997.
Mr Hun Sen and his CPP KR killed many FUNCINPEC top leaders and military officials, like Chau Sambat, Ho Sok, Krouch Yeum after they were arrested…etc in the July 1997 coup to oust Rannariddth, then first Prime Minister. This was a blatant breach of a Geneva Convention on the treatment of POW.
Mr Hun Sen still continues to silent his opponents and NGO workers nowadays. He uses all means, his court, arm forces, police, and the public servants in all institutions in Cambodia to hang on to power.
Mr Hun Sen is the power monger in Khmer politics. He threatens war if he loses the election.
Mr Hun Sen secretly signed the border treaty with Vietnam without any transparency and when the concerned Khmers voiced their concern he threw them in Prey Sar. If there is nothing to hide why not engage the Khmer public in this very important issue?
Mr Hun Sen is the ultimate destroyer of Cambodia.
Citing to the above mentioned, I, the lawyer for the Khmer people and Nation and on behalf of the court of the sacred land charge Hun Sen and his associates for treason, and sentence each of the defendants to 60 years imprisonment.
The defendants have one week to appeal.
