i think it is good and wise to commemorate and know history, however, we should strive to reform and be smarter and cleverer as well as a people of khmer descent, really. it's about learning and avoid same costly mistake of the past. let's use to benefit our intellectual skill, instead of whine, or bitch or being too emotional about it like the extremist pad thugs of thailand or something. of course, khmer people should remember our history, but we must move one to become better as well in order to help prevent same costly mistakes our past leaders had made. wake up and be wise about it all.

of course we reserve the right to criticize our past leaders' mistake that proved costly to our nation and people. that's what those past irresponsible leaders get for their failure. can't forget that, really! however, that said, two wrongs don't make it right, though! may future generation of khmer people strive and learn from our tragic mistake of the past and make cambodia a good nation for all to enjoy in the eternal future of our country. god bless cambodia.
I agree with you, we need to protect our nation and people. Khmer people have enough from all those tragic. All khmer people inside out side of the country we all need to stand up to ptotect our Land.
No one care or love khmer than khmer people. Khmer need to living in peaceful and a good sociaty. No more abuse, no more kill each other. God bless kampuchea and Kampuchea-krom.

I don't believe Kin Sok and a group of poets wrote this poem. These poets are trying to provoke khmer from living in peace and developing country. Samdach Akkak Maha Sena Bathey Decho Hun Sen Varman is a greatest leader after Jayvarman IIV. He is carring and developing to modernized Cambodia.
If you all come to Cambodia today you will see how much Cars, roads, Dollars, Villas and buildings we have? Cambodia is growing 2000 times more than Sihanouk, 2004 times more than Lon Nol, 2009 times more than Pol pot.
Samdach Akkak Maha Sena Bathey Decho Hun Sen Varman who is rebirth from Hun Tien the Greatest King of Nokor Phnum is back.
Cambodian people should regret and pray for him for good heath, long life to lead Cambodia toward peace and prosperity.

The Hanoi's Vietnamisation of Cambodia todayis using this Sun T'zu's Principle. Hanoi use Hun Sen and his cronies to rule over Cambodia ,but by the Dictation of Hanoi: The Killing without BLEEDING.

The Sun T'zu's Art of War is out of dated, just use your head and your own brain and knowledge to think and see the reality. don't believe khmer oversea dictating you. exspecially the poem writers, books and meetings... they just organize to make you pay attantion to them that's all.

Satra Wat Prey Kroch was scribed on palm leaves (S'loeuk Rit)in 1850by Venerable Botum Baramei
named Pich describing the event of Vietnamisation of Cambodia during the reign of Ang Chan and Ang Mei, crimes committed by Viet armies' chief Ong Lov and Troeung Minh Giang.
The original was kept in Budsassanak Bandit library, Phnom Penh, but was confiscated to Hanoi by Viet invading troops during 1979
A copy was preserved in France, and Mr Khin Sok published it with a texts translated in French.
Mr.Khin Sok preserved the same writings of old khmers. If you can read Satra, it's more easy to understand those poems, but some Vietnamese words were used at that time too.
