I am extremely proud of PM Hun Sen. This is the first time we see a Khmer leader win the battle without firing a single shot.

Thai current government is totally humiliated on the international arena while PM Hun Sen triumphs.

Every Khmers should be proud of this moment.

Long live to the Khmer Nation!

Is that the sign of Hun Sen's high reign come to near end? Is that the sign of Cambodian will endure another chaos? I hope it is NOT.
So that I don't need to file petition to sponsor my relatives to USA.

Very unproductive policy of Hun Sen. Now, Hun Sen has hard time to distinguish between personal friend and national interests.

The video clip shows this gathering as private friendship and family reunion. But gradually Hun Sen declared that Thaksin is his government economic adviser. What is Hun Sen doing now? Cambodian parliament approved Hun Sen to appoint Thaksin as economic adviser?

What will Hun Sen use his private relationship to answer the justice system in Thailand? What the world will judge this act of Hun Sen to officially appoint a person whose country charged of criminal act. Though it is political charge but any country in this world dare support this stupid policy of Hun Sen?

If Thaksin is considered government's economic adviser, what is the future of Cambodia and her people to answer question to the world as we are accused of destroying other country's judicial system? Is it an act of interfering or not?

Agent32, help answer all above questions? It is easy easy like what you said or not. As I can see it is a conspiracy more than a honest and respectful friendship. Cambodia will gain nothing, if Cambodia gains perhaps Hun Sen's private inc. and family. But the whole country of Cambodia will have no support from international arena.

12:05AM: what is your point? Thaksin has no legal ground to invest or enforce mutual government investment of Thailand to boost investment in Cambodia. How can you increase GDP from this friendship? Don't mention G-20, it is out of sight from this moment.

This greeting is politically motivated, but how Cambodia benefit from this? Anyone can help provide a concrete explanation?

Giving fugitive Thaksin a stage to fight against another legitimate government is correct for Cambodia? In the world, any country dare to officially greet Thaksin in this manner? Except Dubai, what else countries dare offer Thaksin official greeting?

Can Thaksin go freely like this to Vietnam and Lao? NO..NEVER...but why Cambodia? But why Hun Sen has to choose this way?

Anica Cambodian people and her nation!

The Khmer Thai extradition treaty was also revoked in retaliation to the scrap of the Khmer Thai overlapping maritime boundary MOU.

The Renewed Khmer-Thai MOU is as follows:

Article 1: Thai government accepts to give Cambodia a total of 60 billion US dollars over 5 years with 10 billion US dollars up front and also 80% of petrol wells from Thai-Cambodian overlapping claims area in exchange for the extradition of the international fugitive Thaksin Shinawatra.
