[Thai] PM: Chavalit worsens the situation

Good relations between Thailand and Cambodia turned sour after Gen Chavalit Yongchaiyudh, chairman of Puea Thai Party, made a visit to the neighbouring country, the Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva said on Saturday.

Regarding the remark by ousted prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra in his open letter issued on Friday that the government was using internal political conflict to pressure Cambodia, Mr Abhisit said the problem was not caused by his government.

It was because the Cambodian government issued a statement appointing Thaksin as an economic advisor, he said.

“Thakin is a Thai citizen. He should realize that what he had done is damaging the country’, Mr Abhisit said.

He insisted that the diplomatic retaliation against Cambodia is not too harsh.

Mr Abhisit, you and your government should keep and solve your own problem in your country. We khmers are very tire of you and wishes you would just resign and give the power back to Mr Thaksin. And one more thing do not bring any more issue up on Preah Vihear. Preah Vihear is on Cambodia land and belong to Cambodia.

The Thais are a bunch of loonies ultra-nationalists...What is the matter with them??? It's true that Cambodia do not have economic experts, that's why Samdech Hun Sen imports foreign know-how like Lee Myung Bak and now Thaksin. The Thais are ingrateful bastards who owe so much to Cambodia for the past 800 years. They are imperialists who can not exert control beyond their borders...Instead of fostering fraternal friendship between our two peoples (Khmer-Thai) which share so much in common, they choose the wrong path to self-destruction and humiliation. In the eyes of the world, they are indeed a crazy disturbed people...
