The Thai government will lodge an official protest against Cambodia over the arrest of a Thai engineer of charges of spying, the secretary to the Thai foreign minister said Sunday.

Chavanon Intharakomalsut, the secretary to Foreign Minister Kasit Piromya, said the government would lodge a strong protest if the Cambodian government raised a false charge against the Thai engineer.

Siwarak Chothipong, an engineer of Cambodia Air Traffic Services, has been arrested and charged with spying for allegedly "stealing" the flight information of ex-Thai PM Thaksin Shinawatra and Cambodia's PM Hun Sen.

We Khmer follow the law, where Thai burn Khmer kid alive, not for spying, but looking, searching something in the forest to fee the family. Remember Yon Rith!
