Phnom Penh - Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen attacked Thailand again yesterday, saying the Thai government was derisive about his country and that Abhisit Vejjajiva was the most difficult Thai PM he had ever worked with.
Hun Sen told reporters in Phnom Penh that bilateral relations, which have been sour for months now, would only be normalised if Thailand had a new government. He added that his country would "have no happiness" while Abhisit and Foreign Minister Kasit Piromya were still in power.
"I'm not an enemy of the Thai people ... But, these two people look down on Cambodia," Hun Sen said.
"Cambodia will have no happiness as long as this group is in power."
Hun Sen claimed that Abhisit called him over the weekend after Phnom Penh sent a note last week telling Bangkok that it was cancelling its request for a Bt1.4-billion loan to construct a road from the Thai border to Siem Reap.
"Abhisit called me, for the first time, asking me to withdraw the note. He said Thailand is still willing to give the loan," Hun Sen said.
However, Abhisit was told that Cambodia needed an official letter from him, but though the Thai premier agreed he failed to send the letter at the time it was promised.
"Abhisit is the most difficult person to work with when compared to other Thai PMs," Hun Sen said, adding that from now on Cambodia would not accept any aid from Thailand.
"We have decided to stop receiving any assistance from Thailand. Cambodia cannot allow itself to be humiliated," he added. "I told Abhisit that my people and I were hurt when we heard you talk about halting aid and loans. Now stop talking like this - it is cheap and childish."
The Cambodian leader also hit back about Thailand's threat to close the border between the two countries, saying: "If you are [an] idiot, if you want losses, please go ahead."
Bilateral relations between the two countries soured when Hun Sen appointed fugitive former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra as his economic adviser and refused to extradite him to Thailand.

This is a ploy of the Vietcongs: They told Ah Hun Sen to pick up a fight with Thailand so that we forget about our Eastern border. This way the Viets can continue to swallow Cambodia. Ah Hun Sen is playing with fire. I hope he'll get caught by his stupid decisions. It's up to Thailand and the West to make the next move. Forget ASEAN, it's useless, especially when Vietnam will chair it.

Why making two enemies at the same time? Thais made too big mistake and thought King Pumipon would stay alive to protect them for ever?
They should have NOT beenn too arrogant looking down on Khmers whom they adopted traditional culture from.
This is Vietnamese's expansionism policies by dividing Thais from Khmers. Right now Viet sleeping army may be everywhere in Thailand.
I can bet that among yellow shirts and Red shirts there are Hanoi sleeping army in them.
Since now the US stretching its arms to Hanoi, Thailand will fall into Vietnamese's expansionism without a fight.
King Pumipon's son if he will be selected to be King after King Pumipon dies, this new King will be do as he is told. If not he will be shot like his great uncle King Mahidol, and his naked wife and the pool part will be broadcasted all over the world.
It sounds like Hun Sen dares to tell Thais to topple Abhisit and take back the power for his friend, Thaksin. Will Khmer gain anything from this?
Hun Sen takes a tough line with Thailand but loose line with Vietnam. We dont' know what he wants: to protect Cambodian interest or to serve Vietnamese interest? Every inch Hun Sen moves against Thailand will only benefit Vietnam.
Hun Sen is being programmed by Yuon Hanoi to fight his blood brothers and sisters in Thailand.

I am a khmer but I cannot find one good reason why foreigners should respect the Khmers. Admit we are a poor and backward nation, that said, we need to be strong economically and militarily to deserve respect from the World.

How can he forget to sign a letter when he forward to Hun Xen? How can he behave internationally like a little stupid child? He did it as a joke to humiliate Hun Xen and the rest of the Khmer. And then he would say oh that is a just misunderstanding. What a sleezy leader he is. The thais are too arrogant. They walk with their nose stick up in the air. DISGUSTING! This behavior leads to nothing except embarrasing and childish.
Hun Sen is just pissed that for once some one actually stood up to his face set him straight. He is used to be able to silence and eliminate his opponent by means of making them disappear. Now, Abshit is not a Khmer citizen and an internal figure, another country's figurehead, so all Hun Sen can do is sit back and complain.
Not so tough now are you? Your security and body guards can't touch Abisit like they do to poor Khmer people.

I am not support any Cambodian poiltical party but I strongly support Cambodian's political right. Mr. Hun Sen is doing good politically he's doing all the best so far against Ah Siamese enamie agression. Thing for sure ladies and gentleman, since Siames have been encroching our teritory, without Mr. Hun Sen Siamese troop once again already ocoupied some of Khmer provinces a long the border line. In this case wether right or wrong to some people but the fact is there. Therefore Mr. Hun Sen getting better to stand against Siemese agression. Good Jobs! Mr. Hun Sen.

Why should the Siame care about whether not Khmer happy with their prime minister? I just find hun Sen argument so incredibly gullable. Cambodia are lot more unhappy to have hime as Prime minister. Let Cambodian vote freely who they want to vote for and see who is the winner. dictatorial as Hun Sen is fraustrated the fact that he could not influence the Thai as his people, the more fraustrated he the more stupid he become. Give other people a reason to respect Khmer not belittling.

I felt the same way too at one point when I visited Cambodia from United States, we thought to take a side trip to Thailand while we were visiting Siem Reap and Poi Pet by bus which I don't recommended anyways as it was so hot and disorganized. Once we got to Bangkok, I asked the Thai people there how to get to China town there as I thought it was for the walking distance. I was communicating in English. One person said something I was not sure of... so I approached to another person, all the answers I got was I don't know... and they asked me back "where wer are you from?" I said Cambodia, not realizing Cambodians were not welcome in Thailand. So all in a sudden, I heard Khmen, khmen,khmen spreading from person to the other. I could not careless b/c it was not the slightest thing in my mind about Thais hate Cambodians so much... So we just got on a taxis and have them take us to China town.
I don't write this to spread hatred but I just wanted to share my story with you how Thais behave when they know we come from Cambodia... I hope their mind set would change some what ... as my experience was about 8 years ago.
Since Hun Sen was a Khmer Rouge commander, now a Khmer Rouge leader and had many of his political opponents assassinated, I wonder if he have any plan to assassinate the Thai Prime Minister (AhBullShit Vejjajiva)?
