Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva insisted Thai military officers have not trespassed to Cambodia, as Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen claimed.
"The Thai government will use Prime Minister Hun Sen's comment to explain to the World Heritage Committee that the area around Preah Vihear temple clearly belongs to Thailand," Mr Abhisit said on Sunday.
The Cambodian premier visited the ancient Preah Vihear and Ta Muan Thom temples on Saturday without incident. More than 100 Thai troops were sent to the area.
Thai soldiers will not be withdrawn from the disputed border area yet and more personnel will be deployed to oversee the area around Ta Muan Thom, Mr Abhisit said.
"I don't have to give details whether former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra was behind Mr Hun Sen's visit, but the government will continue keeping a close watch on the red-shirts' activities in different areas," he added.

Before the coup that ousted Thaksin, Hun Sen made a business deal with Thaksin to lease Koh Kong in exchange of 4.6km surrounding Khmer Temple by giving back to Cambodia. King Sihanouk was upset and blamed CPP gov't for letting Thais to lease Koh Kong, and who knows leasing may never get it back. Then the coup ousted Thaksin, and the 4.6km is now becoming of Thai-Khmer's fighting while Yuon secretely sent their troops to Thai-Khmer borders and to Koh Kong and some unidentified regions.
FYI Thaksin leased Koh Kong to build paradise for tourists, but Yuon were fast, because Yuon have too many spies also in Thailand. The words spread so fast and Yuon pretended to side with the US and were able to make Thai Yellow shirts to kick Thaksin out, and Yuon secretely now occupied Koh Kong.
Yuon expansionsim's strategy is through their enemies' internal conflicts. Now Yuon pretend to help Thaksin for China but Yuon stabbing China at the same time.
While Yuon Hanoi are playing multiple games to expand their territory to west including Thailand, japanese are now so friendly with Chinese with all apologies and comfort for Chinese people of their past brutality actions during WWII in Manchu.
What is going on with them? One day they are sworn enemies and the next hour they are friends hugging and kissing each others. How many more hours they will be killing each other again?
The UN can't do anything about the conflict between Thailand and Cambodia.
But UN has said very clear, that the area of the Prasat Preah Vihear belongs to Cambodia and no revision.

Don't think that much, Abhisit has some Khmer blood. In case he is a Khmer descent, he need to learn to be honest, respect the heritage of his ancestor, otherwise he will soon have a brain problem.

This is a normal visit to Cambodian-Thai border and it is no different from Hun Sen visit to Cambodian-Thai border in the past! While everybody to like to see everything in term of politic and what Hun Sen has done is normal!
Cambodian sovereignty in non-negotiable and Cambodian leaders including Hun Sen can visit and walk anywhere in Cambodian territory without getting permission from Thai leaders! This is plain and simple and what Hun Sen had done is just that during his visit to Cambodian-Thai border!

Hun Sen works hard to resolve Thailand-Cambodia problem but he does nothing about Vietnam-Cambodia border.
