NOT only does Maddox Jolie-Pitt have the world’s best-looking parents, he’s also got the brains of a mini-Einstein.
Angelina Jolie, 34, and Brad Pitt, 46, have been raving to pals that their adopted eight-year-old from Cambodia is intellectually gifted and has a high IQ.
A Hollywood source said: “Maddox is amazingly smart and loves books and tinkering with gadgets.
He is a gifted painter and sketch artist, takes piano lessons, does well in football and speaks fluent English, French, Spanish and his native Khmer.”
Yep, we feel slightly inadequate.

I think all human being are the same. It ‘s up to the environment they grow up. How can an American have high IQ if he or she grows up in the d Desert of Sahara? Khmers as well as Vietnamese or Thai or the European can have the same IQ. So do not look down at Khmers! As a Khmer, I can speak fluently three languages – Khmer, English and Russian. Why? Because I had opportunity to study in the former Soviet Union and Australia. Khmer can build Angkor Wat, so we are at the same level as other race in the world.
Khmers are creative, look at what the history been leaving us...look at great Angkor...the couple should be grateful they are lucky to get the smart adopted son! 5-0h-1

Just want to take this opportunity to thank you on behalf of Cambodian people. You have give Maddox an opportunity to be educate and realize his full potential as one of the Khmer's son, in which his motherland is not able to give him. Jolie and Pitt, you are indeed an amazing individual - your kinds heart and compassion toward another being is priceless.
May your heart continue to be bless and be shine unpon those who are in the dark. In addition, I hope that Cambodian Leader realize that they have rich human resources that could cultivate and contribute to Cambodian development.

Yes Maddox the Khmer born kid is smart. Jolie and Pitt are lucky to find him and adopted him. When he grow up Maddox please do not forget your mother country Cambodia. A smart Khmer person like you can replace Hun Xen one day and make Cambodia strong again (my wish).
It comes to show that intelligence is mostly environment, dedication, and a good meal.

Yes, technically you are wrong. The definition of gifted is different for different age range.
The age range of a child determines the aptitude exams used to determine IQ, or intelligence and gifted quality of child.
It is all relative to the natural development and stages of people your age.

Khmer kids those born abroad speak 90% of English, French, and German. Maddox was born in Cambodia and kept his mother tongue all along, not like those stupid kids abroad.

am not sure how well you speak our language. Be realistic and have respect other as our Khmer brother. We can't do, as we all wanted.

Many Cambodian family in Europe or America found themself alone. There is so few and almost no Cambodian kids to talk or interact with. The parents seem to always working and not enough time spending with the youngster. Those children like any other working family do, are at the day care center. Those places are speaking in the language of the country. Many don't have aunts and uncles or grandparents around either. This presents the fact and true challenge for Cambodian parents abroad. It will be fine. Whatever country they live in, they should be able to speak the language fluently and native tongue like any way. Europe and America are their future and they are those countries' future citizen. They are better off learning to master English, French or German first. In time, they will learn Khmer and will also travel back to their parents' homeland. The least is to visit and absolutely! This will be a good for everyone.
Let's get our attention back to this beautiful young child and his parents. We should never discredit The Jolie-Pitt family in any way which ever means. This wonderful parents must have made humongous effort to get Maddox to speaking so many languages and to learn to do so many things. Remember Maddox was only a baby when Ms. Jolie adopted him. He has to have a private tutor or teacher in Khmer or something to be able to speak Khmer or Cambodian fluently. One thing that we all should never forget and highly admire The Jolie -Pitt family, is that they spend their money in the right way and that is on their youngsters. They are also very very fortunate to be able to travel the world with their parents and when you do that the languages should come easy. Again no heart feeling and may God bless this wonderful- beautiful family! They have set fine example and from the bottom of our hearts thank you for adopting Maddox and few other kids from different countries. In your hands, they are the most fortunate being on earth!

It's your big bro, I speak 5 1/2 languages I'm Khmer/Nyaw born in Battambang, CAMBODIA province. Now lived in Long Beach, CA all my life. I've been protected my Khmai brother/sister throughout all those sites from Siem nor Yuon. Somehow, not even one Siem approach this site anymore because I flipped them all the time. As you can see me in topix/CAAI/sopheak wordpress/4Khmer as Khmer Empire. Every time when there a BBQ/baby shower/birthday/wedding I would read to them what Siem was responding.

Cambodian kids, just like kids from other countries, once opportunities open to them, will have higher IQ.
Gifts, even if you are born with it, if not utilized, then will be wasted.
My daughter, just like Maddox Julie, has the same intellectual qualities.
We must take care of them. They are not born with it. Opportunities are important, otherwise, they will be wasted.
Maddox's IQ is probably 3 times the size of the ignorant and uneducated monkey faced Hun Sen
Cambodian parents, especially those who have previlate to have a lot of money and able to send your children to study abroad - I know they are smart. But don't teach them the wronge ideas - like in the article publish a few weeks a goes. The rich Khmer children have an understanding that their parents send them to study abroad - in order to come back "control the country", but not to help rebuild the country. To those "New Rich Khmers" which get rich after 1990s election - please teach your children to be humble, compassion to those Khmer poor, and help rebuild Cambodia to become a civil and democratic nation. Pleas understand that when you travel and tell people that you are from Cambodia - they only equate you to Cambodian nation as just one of the country being the second highest corruption nation in the region! - Rich Khmer children that study abroad pay by their parents - tend to be view by the foreigners - as one of the children from the corrupt family.... So Khmer new generation that have an opportunity to study abroad - please help save your motherland from being view as the most corrupt nation into the nation that promote just, democracy and respect human rights...It is your generation now to build the good image of your motherland!
Shit! I am a Khmer, too. Just want to know how your IQ high is. Don't look down on Khmer. You must be a Thai or Youn. If so, with your high IQ, you are just being considerd as a thief country.
