In response to questions asked by Kuoch Kuntheara, Om Yentieng, chairman of the government human rights commission, thanked the UN for its support to the government direction in the additional strengthening and development of human rights. In the name of Cambodia which is one of the democratic countries, Om Yentieng called on other countries and a number of international organizations to stop directing Cambodia, and stop pointing orders to Cambodia as they please.

Yes, I agree, Khmer gov't needs to learn to stand on its own two feet without outsiders influences. this means, zero tolerant to outsiders dictatorships. Khmer gov't needs to say "we are a no body's allied, we have no favour for any party, we only focus on what needs to be done for our khmer nation and its country, which at the same time we would like to welcome those who wants to make business with us, it doesn't mater what nation they come from. This is the 21st century and we came along way and we learnt alot from our past experienced which indicated that being with USA or Chinese can only make things more worst if not better off. So, we no longer being the "puppets". we are like every other nation which needs to be respected. We are a country that has a boundary and its belonging, So, we wish for the international groups either help us build a better world or to live us alone. And again this is the 21st century, we need to move into the world of peace in order for the benefit for us live in a happy environment and hopefully be able to share the view of the"seven wonders" and prosperity for all. people are sick and tired of political attack. change your way if you want to change the heart and mind of the khmer people. i think khmer gov't is heading toward reforms in many ways. be patient, and don't complain or hate mr. hun sen and his administration for governing too long already; remember there is no law in cambodia that says he and other can't run for office as long as khmer people overwhelmingly voted for him and no law in cambodia that says they can only run for office two terms or three terms only. in actual, they can run for office as long as they can, unless a law prohibits that. as of now, there is no such law, really! so, don't whine anymore, ok!
