For a fact, a fund raising event was held to help Haitian quake victims was purportedly presented on Khmer TV Live by one of the CPP’s friend pretending that Cambodian-Montreal were celebrating January 7, 1979 which it wasn’t to start with. It caused enormous resentment in the community and those who showed up for the good cause they believed in. Was the CPP is trying to present to the donors’ nations and the free world that it has solid supports abroad while in reality it has very little, if any? Or is it simply loosing trust among Cambodian mass inside the land due to its long corrupted policies and practices? The jailing of farmers in defending of Vietnam’s planted poles deep inside Cambodia’s territory does not help the CPP-led government’s own image or argument, but rather damaging for good."The CPP party is not associated with my website. The main objective of the website www.khmerlive.tv is to unite the Cambodian people worldwide, regardless to their political trend. The television channel broadcast on the website, Cambodia’s national channel TVK, may perceive that I am for the ruling party (CPP). In fact, I am not bound to any Cambodian political party. On the other hand, I have the utmost respect towards all political parties, associations and foundations working for the development and the prosperity of our country and for Khmer communities around the world. It will be a pleasure to broadcast other live Khmer TV channels, as well as various cultural and political activities of all political parties, including yours, as long as I have the permission to publish it. Up to now, only TVK and event organizers authorized me to publish on my site.

First, I express my sincere apologies for inconvenience caused to those who came to the event and now feel regret. It has never been mentioned that the event was to celebrate the festival of January 7th, 1979, either before, during or after the event. No political party was attached or mentioned with regard to this event, which is organised by La Chambre de Commerce Cambodge-Canada. The fundraising for the Haitian Relief was held on February 7th 2010. You can view the video diffusion of the event at http://www.khmerlive.tv/liveevent/FundraisingForHaiti/ . The objectives of the team of KhmerLive.TV was to show the solidarity of the Cambodian community in Montreal area towards a country that urgently need help, and to test the live diffusion of video stream in preparation to the song contest taking place on April 10th 2010.

Up to now, we only got the permission of the government to be able to rebroadcast TVK live online. Initially, we rebroadcast CTN Channel, which has refused any cooperation with our initiative.

On several occasions, I even announced on my site Sokha Ly’s effort to have risen over $1,100 for these villagers.

www.khmerlive.tv is not TVK. We only stream TVK because they are the only TV channel that give us permission. CTN firmly refused collaboration and all other channels did not respond yet.

Hi fellow bloggers - finally the true come out. This in deed part of Raymond to promote his father in the CPP clan (yaaaaan...)...as I said, there must be a motive behind this...Raymont why French is your mother longue? So is this mean that you don't have a khmer mother(sorry that your father marriage to foreigner). I believe that only Khmer mother, whether she marry to khmers or foreigners-she will make sure that Khmer language be spoken at least at home....Anyway, Raymond be trueful to yourself and others, because never assume that other people wouldn't see what you hidding!!! Beside- HS is already have more clan than he can use...the price is getting higher to joint(not just money, but also you entire well being...you naturally turn into corruption just like the rest of them...they worship the people who can sell the land fastest and has the highest degree Ph.D. in corruption !!

Blood is not important but heart and action are, being CPP member is also good if you don't lie, cheat, steal, harm, betray your country and your people. If you want to be MP, minister or PM is good if you're honest, sincere..
Raymon, do not pay attention to most critiques who do not appreciate.
I am SRP-HRP supporter, not CPP, but I think you are doing good work by having KhmerTV to give us Khmer a connection to our homeland.
I like your attitude, you are willing and open to all ideas and side. I am sad that the SRP and oppositions do not have resources and strong media because of government policies, but when they do one day - I am pretty sure I will see it on your site as well.

Jim Vikmean - are you "mean" heart for the Khmer people or are you looking for the string to clame into CPP camp? If you can find a govt. official without corruption or the other word take "money for tea" which they can drink to hill for a couple $ 100,000 or million of dollar (depend on the project you are talking about). Once govt. official can't drive Landcruer without "tea money" - comprende (just in case you don't understand in English). Event PUNCINPEC pledge to be clean and difference from the CPP, but live by govt. salary -- one can't servive...the only way to servive like everybody else - well the Khmer in side put its , "just to be like everybody else - which they will take money for tea as well".
So Aka Jim Vikmean...don't tell me that you wouldn't be like everybody else when you are there....by the way, Raymon...why are you so quiet...;either you are quiet because you know what you are doing is again your own heart...or you are already convence yourself that you are just like everybody else in order to do business in Cambodia.....I don't really care what you are doing....only that you are being trueful to yourself and don't make a full out everybody else...

Why? Because I have no clue where or what you mean to argue against me, I never said anything about tea money, or internal corruptions and cleansing of party in CPP or Funcipec or they are different or same. So, impossible for me to argue something I didn't say- straw man argument as they would say.

Who the heck is Raymond Kin? Someone said that he is a medical doctor. So how come he gets involved with the CPP for? Aren't doctors supposed to be reading all the latest updated in medical science magazines 24/7? So why is he neglecting his duties as a professional person. What is Raymond trying to gain from associating himself with the CPP? Is this another replica of Kith Meng of Australia who employs a simple azzkissing practice with Hun Sen's clique to gain more benefits in the end? Something is fishy here. A doctor in politics??? Have never seen one before and if I actually know one that is, then I will feel really disgusted.

I am no trangender...I chose Indra Devi to identify myself because I am Khmer woman who love her motherland very much and does not want to see people kissing assssssssss to CPP and claim to helping the over 80% of people that are living in the country even lack the basic clean wather to drink...comprendo Mr Jim...If you claim yourself not kissing ass to Reymon (because his father reprentative of CPP in Canada - you must be kidding yourself). Mr. Raymon have no interest in Cambodia? Than why his father represent the CPP in Canada? why his father represent the CPP for the Khmer Canadian...
By the way, Mr. Jim..Have you gone to Cambodian? How many Cambodian people have you been help? Have you been to the country side? I believe there are always some people who never satisfy whatever one tries to do for them. As per this topic, yet we can still see many negative comments.
I personally think "Raymond Kin" is a reasonable person. He takes responsibility to response to the matter. He has done a great work for the community. He has offered to any party to broadcast their events on his website as long as he is authorized to do so. So, time will tell. Please give him a fair judgement, do not quickly jump in. If any particular party requests him to broadcast something (subject to the benefits of Cambodian people) and he rejects to their request, we then can evaluate that.
