Seven civilians have died in clashes between United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship protesters and security officers in downtown Bangkok.

Clashes started late yesterday morning and continued throughout the afternoon at the Witthayu intersection, the Thai-Belgium Bridge, Lumpini police station, Ratchaprarop Road, Din Daeng intersection, Silom Road and Soi Sala Daeng.

Soldiers used tear gas, rubber bullets, and live rounds against protesters, who retaliated using home-made rockets and Molotov cocktails to block advancing soldiers and by setting fire to a bus.

The sound of gunfire was heard from both sides.

In the evening, a number of grenade attacks took place on Rama IV and Silom roads.

At least seven red shirt protesters were killed and 101 people were injured yesterday, including three journalists and several soldiers.

Two people reportedly died during the afternoon clashes, while three were killed by grenade explosions on Rama IV Road and at Sala Daeng intersection.

Heavy gunfire and grenade explosions were reported in the Ratchaprarop area late last night, resulting in several injuries.

The Centre for the Resolution of the Emergency Situation gave soldiers authority to fire live rounds at the lower bodies of attacking protesters.

To All Red-Shirt or the poor Issan people,

We can't tolerate the oppression and use of forces from Bangkok elites group, so we must find an alternative way to be ourself. We would like to form an autonomous region or break away from Bangkok. So we can have more democracy then Bangkok claim they that they are.

Red-Shirt,
Leader

The genocide is going on now in Bangkok but no one is standing up to stop the massacre . The thai government never have the respect for human right either of the refugees in the past or their own people now but the world give the honor to them to have a seat in the world human right commission.
Where is the justice ?

1:10am, it's called bias, my dear! i supposed bangcock has a lot of foreign businesses, interest, etc... so, that's why it seemed like the world favor siem country over cambodia. they are protective of their businesses and interest, etc... so, cambodia must wake up and embrace the world to invest and establish interest in cambodia they will help to defend and protect cambodia for a change, really! god bless cambodia.

Thai killed a lot of khmer refugees and then burn the poor khmer boy plus a number of others who have treas pass the border in search of foods etc. Now, karma is coming their way to claim what is right and just for the khmer people. The bible stated that 'no evil people will go unpunished' and that 'never to take advantage of the downfall or it will reverse the situation onto you' Proverbs. life is all about 'doing the right thing for the righteous will live forever and the wicked will be terminated'. Remember, the first Karma is tsunami and then the civil war which will last for years to come. If they want to end they must ask for forgiven from those lives that they have taken from us and to win the battle, they must eliminate their king first before their king goes into the same foot step as the khmer king that is making khmer kills khmer or making Thai skills Thai. I heard some of us think too much:

- Think about their own families

- Think about Cambodia our own country

- Think about Thai's political

Do not happy when we see another people got suffering.
