An official from the Cambodian ministry of Foreign Affairs replied to Thailand on 04 May, indicating that the Ta Krabei temple and the building of a cable car by the RCAF at the beginning of the year near Ta Krabei temple in order to provide service to Cambodian troops stationed on top of the mountain, - such as food and material transportation etc… - are all located within Cambodian territories.
Koy Kuong, spokesman for the ministry of Foreign Affairs, told RFA on 04 May that: “The issue raised by the Thai ministry of Foreign Affairs’ diplomatic note was a violation without clear basis. They raised [the issues] like dumb and Cambodia cannot accept it. The Cambodian embassy in Bangkok sent back to the Thai ministry of Foreign Affairs its diplomatic note dated 30 April, confirming that the location of Ta Krabei temple, as well as the construction of the cable car are truly located inside Cambodia, based on the convention and map convention which are internationally recognized. We want to point out also that even the map that was unilaterally drawn by Thailand does confirm that Ta Krabei temple is located inside Cambodian territories as well.”
The reply took place after the Thai ministry of Foreign Affairs sent a letter on 29 April 2010 indicating that Ta Krabei temple belongs to Thailand and that the construction of a cable car by the RCAF near there is also located inside Thai territories.

Prasat Ta Moan, Ta Krabei etc. should be renamed to something more pleasant...like Prasat Soryaraingsei' & 'Prasat Chanreaksmei' respectively!
Mr. Koy Kuong must tell Thailand to go to the moon and claim it as well or better yet, go to Hun Sen's toilet and claim it...his feces are ready to go to Thailand!!

I am wondering why Cambodia afraid to complaints the case to International Court or UN. Every time they claimed that Cambodia is sovereign, but why do they afraid of Thailand?
I Seem to like the original name much better. It is easier to pronounce and short. The new name sounded beautiful, a bit long and easily to forget. Any way, coward Thais want Cambodian land so bad. They are very greedy. The archetect of the temple is purely's Khmer. What else to prove to mental Thais ?
I would like to inform the Khmer editors, reporters not to repeat calling prasat Tacrabei after Siamese lanuage(Khwaay)=(Crorbei in khmer). This word(Ta Crawbei) Siamese was translated from Khmer's word calling (PRASATH DORNG-WAAY),it means the Worshipping Prath or Prasath for worshippig. Siamese did not have word Dorg-Waay, though they had been translating (Dorng-Waay)to the closest Siamese word means KHAWAAY=KROR-BEI in Khmer's word, sice then Khmer had been continuosly repeating calling after Siamese's transleting language.

siem ancestors did not build this temple. it was khmer ancestors who built it. so, there!
Name original was PRASATH DORGWAAY.It means OFFERING PRASATH or PRASATH OFFERING.
Later Siamese had been translating it to PRASATH TA KHWAAY, the closest Siamese's word they can get.
During 50year controlled by Siamese in the region, the Khmer young generation had been translating back from TA KHWAAY(wich is Siamese word) to becomming TA KRORBEI in Khmer word as it is today.

- PRASATH DORGWAAY OR DARGWAAY IT'S NOT TA KHWAAY.
- PRASATH BOMNUN OR BOMM NON, IT'S NOT PRASAT BANON as it is today.
this temple looks khmer to me. get lost siem pad thief!
