cambodia needs to build more irrigation to bring much needed water from our many lakes and rivers system all over the country. use modern machinery and technology to do it. depend too much on rain only is outdated method. yes, look around the world for better ideas, etc...

why drought and flooding problem in cambodia every year? perhaps, it's the lack of technology and lack of education than lack of water or too much water, etc..., really! wake up, people! look around the world,ok!

Keep cutting down the trees, Ah Run Tas Banch Hun Sen. Cambodia will have a lot of rain coming to your toilet. Ah Khmer leaders destroy all natural resource because they're dummy people and working for Hanoi.

Trees are helping to get rain and preserve nature.

Ah Kwak even filled up the Phnom Penh's lake for his gangster's business. What is the fuck that he is thinking? He has no land to expand because he gives a lot of land to his master, Hanoi. That's why he filled up the lake. When you have a peasant leader, that's what you get.

Keep praying for water; it won't happens folks. This is 21st century. We use weather satellite, not praying for rain.

Sooner or later the world will start WW III for water shortage.

I'm not worry because I don't live in Cambodia, the corrupted and jungle law country. No rule of law it is a disaster. The powerful and the rich don't respect the law.

I am happy to see Khmer kill Khmer via eviction of the poor, soon our people from Vietnam will took over all Khmer land. Thank you Samdech Hun Sen for doing this for us.

We are now deploying all our companies everywhere in your country so that we can easily control your people who against us then we order you to kill them.

Every where around the world, people are experiencing a droubt....especially Southern California. So stop blaming everything on Hun Sen. He's not God and doesn't control everything that happens to everyone.

Agree with all comments above guys! :). I am a farmer too, and it breaks my heart seeing our crops are dying. I'm thinking everyday about next year, how can we will survive, how my village and the rest of farmers in the kingdom will survive. It's really hard, we have no job daily. Last year it was bad enough but we managed to have some rice to eat and paid some debt, but if this year we face this drought again, we will be losing our land and house...who knows. It's sad seeing those dark/hopeless faces of those farmers. I wish govt pay more attention to this matter, improve irrigation systems and providing small loan etc. A little help indeed. We are not lazy people, we want to work and live near our family but if there is nothing to do, no income, means no foods to feed my family, not to mention about the sickness. I as many would have no choice but going to find job in Thailand illegally & again this is the only hope for now.

God bless farmers, we are not going to die but maybe strugglingly live, but we are not going to die

yep keep cutting down the trees. The next hurricane or great flood coming will hit vietnam first and drag it to the sea and then Cambodia.
