Fucking Thai-Siam.

This is not the first lesson learnt. We all must not forget history either west and east especially current government.

Mr. Hun Sen yet has demonstrated his cleverness involving border dispute as his diversion tactics with the recent border issues with Cambodia-Viet border demarcation.

Is it a luck or are Cambodian troops really that strong? Never heard Cambodian soldiers get injured or killed during any fight with Siamese. Wish that report is true. God blessed Khmer soldiers!

These soldiers are fighters--not politicians. They fought bravely when orders given; they fight to win. These fighters are winners. That said, they might not know much about politics, but--yes, they really know how to fight and survive.

I'm very proud of these soldiers!

May the Lord Buddha bless them!

Last time I heard both sides were playing volleyball together to reduce tension. Did the loser of the game resort to shooting now?
This border tension always sound like child play to me. One minute you play and eat together, next minute you shoot at each other.

I always read it is always the Thai soldier initiating the fight. Then the Cambodian soldiers responded resulted in Thai injuries or death. You would think if the Thai started the shooting first they bound to hit Cambodian soldiers, unless the Thai shot in the air, which I doubt.

Why don't the Cambodians start the shooting first? Why wait until someone shoot at you before you responded?

As much as I don't want the Cambodian side to lose, I always have to remind myself to read news report from the conflict zone with a grain of salt. Never know who is telling the truht. Both sides are good at lying.

During the Khmer Rouge era, the Thai did not have the audacity to raise border dispute with the late Pol Pot. Also, Pol Pot will never allow his soldiers play sports with his foes.

Now, Mr. Hun Sen will use border dispute (with Thailand) as his "pretext" whenever he has internal conflict, or dividing the Cambodian public's attention from the Cambodia-Viet border demarcation.

To 3:11 PM
Those Khmer soldiers dont only fight with thai ... they fight with their own people too even those people are unarmed . Have you ever heard of Khmer soldiers shooting at ordinary people ?

Lots of these Khmer soldiers are the Khmer rouge so they are great fighters. They know the terrain well and have been fighting for years. The Thia may have the modern weapons, but they are no match to these Khmer guerilla soldiers when fighting in the jungle.

Don't be angry when we just heard by the news, but we need to find out the reason ( I mean the clash between Thai and Cambodia some time is a trick of politic)

Cambodian soldiers are the weakest in the world, don't lose your temper, Cambodians are not warrior, strong only to kill Cambodians ourself.
After all none would be interested to fight against Cambodia, the border quarrels are created by weapon making countries to sale weapons to Cambodia paid by oil money.

Want to know why the Thai never raised border issue with the Khmer Rouge? Not because the Thais were scared. On the contrary, the Thais were just content to sit by and watch Khmer Rouge killing fellow Cambodians. The Thais are not that fond of Khmer people to begin with anyway, so why intervene to stop the killing?

In fact, when the Viet came the Thais helped assist the Khmer Rouge at the border areas for a long time by providing shelter from the Viet bombardment. Perhaps the Thais hoped Khmer Rouge able to return and kill more Cambodian people. It is to Thailand's long term national interest to have a weakened neighbor. Has that not been the case throughout history between Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam?

The reason the border become an issue now is because Cambodia start to have some stability.
Internal stability will provide an environment for progress, and development. Thailand feel threatened by a neighbor that is developing. Cambodia continue to develop long enough, then she will start to compete with Thailand in the economic arena. Unhindered economic development will lead to military strength. This is not good for Thailand. Perhaps, the Thai nationalists raise this border issue now so that Cambodian gov't can divert the budget from economic development to spend on military hardware.

Folks, maybe, just maybe the Thais and the Viets nationalists are just waiting and hoping for the next Cambodian leader as stupid as Pol Pot to rise up and anihalate the Cambodian people once again so that it will be one less neighbor to compete with for them.

Talking about border, both East and West, it's really suck...I'm not a border expert, but I bet we are losing our land to both Vietnam and Thailand now...
We have 1993 Paris's agreement, We have map at United Nations...why our Government don't bring these issues as quick as possible to the United Nations? no need to fight...
I'm really so afraid of losing our border, both East and West.
God bless Cambodia(181 035 KM2).
