Map by the government border expert clearly indicated the location of the border posts determined by Sam Rainsy are located inside Cambodian territories. Border post 185 is in fact located 516-meter from the actual borderline.

Mr. Sam Rainsy, leader of the opposition Sam Rainsy Party (SRP), has been summoned to appear before the court next month after the government sued him for document forgery and disinformation when he published a series of maps and documents purported to show Vietnam's encroachments on Cambodian borders, reports Radio Free Asia.
This is the second time the government sued Mr. Sam Rainsy regarding his border claims. On 27th January 2010, he was sentenced to 2 years jail for leading villagers to uproot border posts in late 2009 after those villagers claimed that they were planted deep inside Khmer territory and inside their rice fields. He has lived in self-imposed exile in France ever since.
The report said that judge decided to summon Mr. Sam Rainsy to appear before the court after the investigation into his case has been completed.
Mr. Choung Chou-Ngy, Sam Rainsy's lawyer, said he will do his utmost to defence his client, but said he has very little confidence in the Cambodian justice system. "Everybody knows about the Cambodian courts. If we talk about my hope (for a successful defence), I have almost no hope at all. I think that I must use all the technical aspects of the laws and all my capacity in order to defence my client under the laws", he said.
Mr. Ky Tek, the government's lawyer, said he will bring all the relevant documents to present to the court as well as calling border expert witnesses.
If found guilty, Mr. Sam Rainsy could face between 5-18 years of jail on top of his previous 2 years jail sentence.

Sam Rainsy's political life in Cambodia is dead in the water. The government second complaint against Sam Rainsy is the last nail on Sam Rainsy's coffin.
It's laughable when SRP MP Chea Poch has announced that Sam Rainsy will come back to Cambodia soon.
I don't care about the death of Sam Raisy political life. What I care is the death of Cambodia because Sam Rainsy is the one who dares to fight against the Yuon that is swollowing Cambodia. Right on 4:03 PM, Sam Rainsy is neither a person nor a political party, it is a MISSION to liberate the motherland from the Viets and their guard dogs.
No pessimist ever discovered the secrets of the stars, or sailed to an uncharted land, or open a new haven to the horizon of the spirit.
This is the opportunity for all Cambodian people. It is not about win or lose the case for SRP.
We all want to see all the facts lay in front of International observers and Cambodian people. I hope that SRP is right, but I reserve my judgment base on the facts. There will not be more excuses on the facts.
I also hope that SRP ask French representative to be an observer.
If Madam Mu, trust the US so much, she can also invite the US rep. to be an observer. This is more important to Cambodian, who is living in and out the country to know all the facts. It is more important than the pettition for Obama Admin.
We need to debate this case out infront of the court, and I hope that SRP is prepared. It doesn't matter what the final outcome will be, as long as all the facts are out in the public.
It will be the major victory for all Cambodian when all the facts are presented.

Subedi is working for Sam Rainsy. He criticizes Cambodian court because he wants to please Sam Rainsy. It is thinkable that Sam Rainsy has money to pay Subedi. Not only Subedi works for Sam Rainisy but the former UN envoys include Thomas, Le Prech, Yasgai and .........
