I rarely hear Cambodian leaders, Hun Sen, king, and other people of influence ever lay out visions where Cambodia is heading as a nation and society. I never hear leaders make a rallying call to unite common people to a common cause. Instead, they are good at silencing, imidating, and make critical comments.
When you aim at nothing, you will hit nothing.
"Where there are no visions the people perish." Cambodian people continue to perish each day. Hundreds of thousand of Cambodians leave the country to become migrant workers in other countries.
I for one just happy to be a refugee in a foreign land rather than perish in the chaotic motherland.
Cambodia is run by leaders who lack clear vision for its people, except for a mad rush to development at the expense of forced eviction.
Unless dramatic change take place in the mind of the people, Cambodia is just an obscure little nation never amount to much.
