No Joke!
A joke contest is organized by the CTNN channel in the kingdoom of Cambodia.
The first winner got a prize of 20 years in prison for defamation. Second prize was 10 years of forced labor for disinformation.
------------
You’d better clap!
The kingdoom dictator, Samdach Akak Moha Sena Badey Decho Hun Xen, terrorizes his people to applaud him, to acclaim him, treating him like a semi-god figure. Acclamations are compulsory, anyone not applauding his speeches goes to jail.
One day, Samdach Akak Moha Sena Badey Decho Hun Xen decides to go out and mix in with his people. He wants to know whether people really like him or simply acclaim him because they are persecuted if they don't.
Samdach Akak Moha Sena Badey Decho Hun Xen, disguised as a poor beggar, goes to Lakhon Bassac show which he partially funded... he sits down and listens to the speech given by the show director from the theater chair...
Every time the show director announces his name as being the benefactor of the show, everyone in the theater jumps up applauding and shouting: "Long live Samdach Akak Moha Sena Badey Decho Hun Xen! Long live Samdach Akak Moha Sena Badey Decho Hun Xen!"
Samdach Akak Moha Sena Badey Decho Hun Xen feels overwhelmed, smiling in the middle of the crowd.
His happiness makes him feel ecstatic...
Suddenly someone taps him on the head: "Clap your hands one-eye beggar or the police will lock you up for good!"
------------
Scratching a living in the kingdoom

Old man #1: "And your son?"
Old man #2: "Ah... he doesn't work either"
