We knew that YUON communist is swallowing our country every day, how many Khmers are standing up and mention like he did. I am not denying for sure there must be some Khmers had tried in every which way to rescue our Cambodia from YUON too, but we still can not united as one force and fight against YUON occupation all together, can we?
In this political climate in Cambodia, we Khmer ought to unite with all walk of life, it does not matter what Khmer political party you come from. We all Khmers must put all aside of our differences to liberate our beloved Cambodia from YUON occupation.
This is a good time now for us to unite without DORN DEUM KNEA TWOE THOM while the USA side make a hot pursuit on China communist policy of aggressive attitude in South East Asia.
YUON can decide in which way they want to in this giant countries dispute, we Khmer especially the CPP leadership plus the CPP government must use this opportunity to free themselves from the iron grip of YUON’s Hanoi communist expansion.
Therefore, Suon Serey Ratha or not Mr. Suon Sery Ratha, every Khmer must be united as soon as possible for the salvation of our beloved Cambodia. Khmer saying VEACH TVEU KANG, TRANG TVEU TOUK. Please unite, don’t fight and criticize among our Khmer compatriots. The time have comes.

I just come back from Cambodia Two weeks ago; I see Cambodia is still Cambodia; there is no Yuon in Cambodia or Cambodia will become Champa as you fool have mentioned.

I don’t care about Soun Serey Ratha has a degree or not, but what I care is when he speeches is making sense, a lot far above the speech of Sihanuk and Hun Sen. Therefore, I supported him 100%.
I think this Sourn Serey Ratha guy is a very arrogant sort of person. Everytime he speaks he has always think of himself more than the nation. Most of what he has said in Paltalk or in Yahoo rooms were something that have already been said by previous Khmer Next Generation Leaders who are growing up in America and Japan. He has not said anything new. This guy can barely speak english not to mention writing a sentence. Although he is very good in Khmer, but he still has alot to learn. He has no vision, leadership, or ability to lead anyone. I have followed this guy and listened to what he has to say for more than 5 years. And the same craps came out from his mouth is basically the same craps that have been spit by his predecessors. And what the hell is about his security? I dont think anyone would care where this guy hold his meeting. The most no more than 50 people who will attend this meeting. I have confronted him many times during several discusions, but he has failed to make proper respond. To make it short...just look at his track records in Rhode Island.

Since you attacked the great King, King Sihanouk, I have to chime in.
What you see in Cambodia are products not the colonozation process of Hanoi behind the CPP.
The title he has as "Samdech Akkak Maha Sena Padei Decho Hun Sen Varman" was given by King Sihanouk.
Some people are under illusions about the flattery and obeisance.
Do you know the name Varman exists in South India, and many of them are drunkards? We had one Varman named Jayavaraman 8. He destroyed the empire. Thousand of ancient monuments were burnt down and he persecuted Khmer Buddhists.
Has Hun Sen achieved anything for Cambodia? Can you list?
King Sihanouk is always very nationalist. He went to exile in Thailand in May/1953, demanding that he would not return until France granted his country a full independence. He won Preah Vihear from King Bhumibol.
Cambodia was officially neutral, until US's allies SVN and Thais invaded Cambodia, and the US ignored. He sought China for helps.
The US supported Gen Lon Nol against Communists, he abandonend the Monarchy, but the Prime Minister of Cambodia was HRH Prince Sirimatak.
Soviet threw billion of dollars to take Cambodia and Laos. China was asked to watch over Ho Chi Minh. Ho Chi Minh trail was built from Soviet's pocket.
Gen Lon Nol was defeated. The corruption among his army, his about 1/4 imaginary troops existed only on papers.
About calling Khmers into jungle was not the King, he was only a prisoner. It was Hanoi and Pol Pot's strategy. Some tanks of KR Communist VN drovw into PP, they chanted and killed Khmers in the name of their beloved King Sihanouk. The King was removed on April/1976 and was placed under house arrest.
We know the King remains a controversal figure, some despised, and admired by millions and I'm one of his admirers.
The King went to N. Korea and then China in protest to Hun Sen's oppressive behaviors in 2004, then his abdicated left Hun Sen and Cambodian officials panicking to find a replacement.
If Hun Sen is so grerat then why he still wants to keep the monarchy?
You consider King Sihanouk is a villain, but among million Khmers, his achievements through big storms and huricane, the King is one of the great Kings.
