Convicted criminal Sam Rainsy is a yesterday man. His political career in Cambodia was dead in the water. Despite God won't able to save him.

It is laughable that unemployment and fugitive Sam Rainsy has shameless advised to Khmer in Cambodia on how to get a job? While he has been convicted for uprooting the border posts, he tries to give more advices on border dispute with Thailand. If Sam Rainsy is genuine in protecting Cambodia's border, he must tell his ally (Abhisit's government) in Bangkok to stop using Preach Vihear temple as political game in Thailand and give up its greedy to invade Khmer's land.

Sam Rainsy should remind himself in every minute that he has no any value in Cambodia's politic at all.

Sam Rainsy and Abhisit like two sides of a single coin. Both mad men are good in using nationalist card to gain a cheap political score.

The Khmers are still living in stone age.

They have no clue of what true leadership looks like because they have never had one. They have lived under tyrants like Xihanouk, Lon Nol, murderer Pol Pot, and now worse Tyrant, murderer, and robber Hun Xen.

Khmers you are destined to be doomed. You live in borrowed time like a frog in a tiny hole, making all kind of noises even there is no rain coming, and puffing yourselves into a ballon until you're blown up and self-destruct!

The Youns and the Thais are watching you people from the outside laughing and thinking you are a bunch of pathetic creatures. Your days are numberered!

Go back and look yourselves in the mirror, its time to reinvent and catch up with the rest of the world communities.

Hun Sen really want to defend Preah Vihear ???

I think NO.

Why he jails Sam Rainsy when this one defends Cambodian lands ???

If he works with Sam Rainsy he may be stronger to defend Cambodia.

Why he choses outlaw Taksin instead of prime minister Abhisit ???

He wants to have war against Siam and divide Cambodia for his master Yuons.

Hun Sen don't want to defend Cambodia.

Sam rainsy political life is over!
Think again, Pals!!!!
The crash course between Hun and Sam is just the beginning. Hun will need Sam back eventually to legitimate CPP next rule of election.
Human Right and Funcipec parties (everyone know it is pro/affiliate to CPP) are not enough to take this task.
CPP can't go over 93 seats, this is max cap. if it were over, CPP looks as it is cheating. (see election 101 course). CPP can share some to Funcipec but since Funcipec is not considered CPP-strong opponent any more, it will likely make CPP looks less legitimate in the face of international and some locals.

I am glad SRP is taking part in the interests of the nation, in this case, the border issue with Thailand as well as with Vietnam and the free and unregulated inflow of the Vietnamese immigrants into Cambodia. As the opposition party, the SRP has a role to point out any problems arise that can and will put our nation in disadvantage with the ruling government. However, I don't want to see the ruling government to see SRP as an opponent but as a working partner that competing on the base of ideas, policies, capacity, morale values, ethics ect... We are all Khmers or Cambodians. We live in this land together. There is no reason to rock our boat, instead we must respect and strive together to bring this land, to the level that we will surprise everyone, as healthy and happy as we can, not only for us but for our children and grand children to come. Certainly, we don't want to see our loved ones to be enslaved and suffered by foreigners. We must continue the policy of empowerment helping our own kind first without any fear from the government side. Only we open our hearts that our children can excel their imagination to bring this be loved nation to the level of prosperity, modernity and just.

Cambodians are indignant because outsiders have treated them with contempts, especially the Viets and the Thais who have systematically and to some extent successfully stigmatized Khmers as inferior race who could not possibly be capable of building something as splendid as Angkor or Preah Vihar let alone the once mighty Khmer Empire.

All previous self-proclaimed Khmer leaderships (kings or otherwise) play into the enemies' ruse because they could not shake loose the archaic and pervasive "god-king" mentality which causes them to always behave in such an unrestrained brutality. They tend to treat their countrymen not as free citizens, but as subjects or slaves of the state, and shamelessly misuse their ill-gotten power to abuse and exploit the populace any which way they wish - such as extracting rice tax, conscript them for labor and military service, take away and reappropriate their lands, violent repression to include killings and executions, restrict individual liberty and freedom of expression, limit people access to resourses, preventing labor from organizing, etc.

How can Cambodia and the Khmers expect foreigners to respect, honor, and bestow them full right and privilege of world membership among recognized civilized democratic nations, with such chronic display of barbarism?

The French came and appropriated Khmer lands as they please; the Viets invaded and exploited Cambodia (land, resources, people) as they please; UNTAC came and gave Khmers a little bandage to slow the bleeding (not stop the bleeding), and left; the Thais saw that Preah Vihar and the land it sits on, to include the whole Khmer-Thai frontier as loosely marked and guarded and thus creates a golden opportunity for them to take a swipe at it thinking Khmers are lame.

The greatness of a society, a country, a state or a civilization hinges on "how the government treats the weakest among its citizenry" not on fancy rhetorics, bullying (Hun Sen's school of diplomacy), or fire power of its military (while Khmer armed forces has just enough to terrorize its own population, but not enough to get the foreign enemies to even think twice).

Up to now, the Cambodian government and the various political factions are still engaging in the politicking (cheap and meaningless political brawl), in the outmaneuvering of one another for seats in the parliarment, while the wolves are at the door, and the citizens are buried under the crushing load of injustice, oppression, ignorance, poverty, hunger and hopelessness. Nothing coming over the horizon appears to be intended to soothe or even mitigate the agonizing pain of the dejected population. The bleeding continues.

UNTAC is not coming back, Cambodia again is on her own!

Fight on you shrimpheads, whenever you've decided that you had enough, look through your front door (if your house is still standing and there's a door by that time): who's HERE.......!
