There is nothing new here. It is the same old story.
Is it true? Will the majority of Cambodians believe in this story?
The ballot box results seem to indicate otherwise, i.e. that the Khmers still love the CPP!
Of course, you can argue that the Vietnamese who live in Cambodia vote for the CPP. If that is the case, you definitely need a different strategy to overcome this problem.
The people who vote for the CPP may know that the CPP serves Vietnamese or foreign interest, but they don't care and can't stop voting for the CPP because the CPP represents and maintains their interests and the CPP needs Vietnam to maintain their own interests as well.
As usual in Cambodia people care more for themselves than their country. It is a sad but true reality of the Khmer society.
You sit in a boat and you don't take care of the boat because you think that when the boat sinks somebody else is sitting there and while you are sitting there, the boat still floats and that is all what concerns you. This kind of mentality is self-defeating not easy to be modified in the Khmer society.
Look back in recent history and you will see the examples of this kind of mentality portrayed clearly among the Khmer leaders:
1. Son Ngoc Thanh worked for and with the Thais and using his Khmer Serei bases in Thailand he ordered his forces to attack the forces of the Royal Government of Cambodia of the then prince Sihanouk.
2. The KR of Vietminh origin worked with the Vietnamese to undermine and sabotage the Royal Government of Cambodia of the then prince Sihanouk.
3. The KR of Pol Pot's group also worked with the Vietnamese to try to seize power from the Royal Government of Cambodia of the then prince Sihanouk.
4. King Father Sihanouk after being deposed of power on March 18, 1970 joined hand with his former ennemies (KR of Pol Pot and those of Vietminh) to fight against the Khmer Republic Government of general Lon Nol.
5. The CPP works with Vietnam to maintain their power. Hun Sen, for his own survival, will never turns against Vietnam to defend Cambodia's interests as many others in his own party would love to serve Vietnam and get his power. Just look at Pen Sovan's case for this important point.
All these guys are alike; nobody is working for Cambodia first and none among them is willing to have a limited time in power; they all act like they own Cambodia and rule her for eternity!
Only education can help change or prevent such destructive mentality from continuing; however, education requires time and time may not be on Cambodian side.

All Khmers should wake up, if you don't, by the time you just awake, you will have no lands at all.
I like to congratulate for the writer for his patriotic to his home land. May his writing be reached to all Cambodian to wake up and stand up for their lands left by their ancestors.
I felt very shame to see many PhD who are putting their head down to the present authority for a few dollars a month. They should strenghten their PhD value by working for better meaning to save theirnation and their people from a slavery society.

'Huynh Xen' wants to be known as Chey Chetta II in Cambodia...his family/clan mirror the Khmer Abhaiwongs family which sided with Thailand the last few centuries ago.
Most Khmer people are selfish unlike the Israelis, Germans, Romanians, etc...
It would take a miracle to get out of the gradual Vietnamization and Viet domination...

Dear KI, it is so sad to tell you that everybody had concensious for their country, but one of the blank which they don't know is most of Khmer people in this era are under the pressure of yuon hanoi, if they want to commit a revolution, the yuon's slave will kill them, and if they commit it, they will lose their power and they will fall into trouble. So they prefer serving yuon to Khmer. All intellectuals and learned persons realised that they are under yuon supervision and they are yuon's slave, but they did not intend to move for freedom and control their country by themselves. They need yuon to control on their head instead. even you (KI) tried to get the essence documents from various locations to prove and to clarify the yuon's slave and puppet, it is just a blatant documents which they have had on their head as pouring water on duck's head. These puppets and slaves will not abandon their power, otherwise they will face dangerous to their life and relatives. Remember that they sent many spies and relatives to oversea for watching the activities of the Nation loved person, if they can, they will erase the body from the world as they used to committed such crimes in Cambodia. I am tired to say this, becuase it is revealed over the world and nothing happened for assisting, rescuing the genuine, real and truth Khmer away from the pressure, control, killing of yuon's slaves, yuon's puppets and yuon hanoi.

I would like to congratulate for the author for his nationalistic to his motherland. I wish this letters would reach to all Khmer people to wake up so that we can work together to save our homeland.
Every Cambodian should wake up now. If we stay together we are strong, but if we separate we are week. It is time for us to wake up now. If we don’t learn from the previous mistakes, we will not be able to survive. In thirty more years, I believed the longest time we have, the Vietnamization in Cambodia would be finished.
Therefore, what are we waiting for? Are we waiting for the U N to help us out from this trap? Or are we waiting for any one of the world superpowers to help us on this problem? Is that so, just going back to sleep and waiting for the death.
My beloved brothers and sisters, there is no body but us to help ourselves. Those world superpowers are just too busy for their own things; or if they want to involve in our business, it just because they want to benefit their own homes.
There fore, if we do not try hard ourselves, we will fail; ours children will be homeless.
There will be no more Cambodia in the future, just like “Champa”; we will become minorities in our homeland.
That is true!
