In case you have short memory, the Khmer Republic tried and gave all they could to be the US ally, but when your beloved America looses interest she picked the ball and went home - and you know the rest of the story.

One slogan I would like to offer the US Embassy in Phnom Penh to be used for public relations should go like this:

- WE HAVE RETURNED.
- WE WILL LAY WASTE LIKE WE ALWAYS DO.
- THEN WE SHALL FLEE ON OUR CHOPPERS FROM THE ROOFTOP.

A Khmer who got burned

Cambodian Americans and their children must love USA, must love Americans because they are American.
BUT Cambodians in Cambodia MUST NOT trust USA and Americans at all because there is no where in the Constitution of USA, talking about Cambodia, either Cambodians.
USA and Americans don't care about Cambodia and Cambodians.
China and Chineses neither.

It is all deja' vue again, sanwiched between the thais and the viets (of the whole vietnam this time ), the cambodian people plays the sideshow to the US which have more interest in Vietnam and Thailand than in Cambodia
Keep our eyes wide opened to see what will play out this time. What is the best choice for Cambodia ? P.S.:Wikileaks indicate that the US have no more balls to play in Idochina but the Obama still come to flirt the viets.

8:00pm, Why would the US Constitution mention Cambodia? It doesn't mention Germany, China, OR ANY OTHER COUNTRY. IT'S THE US COSTITUTION! IT has things like freedom, individual liberty, equality - all rights endowed by our creator (God) to all people. Inalienable rights - rights that can not be taken away by something man made like a government. Universal Rights. It's beyond the mere mention or inclusion of something as arbritary as a name of a country.
