Over one hundred participants were present. They were selected delegates representing several SRP chapters from different countries, states, provinces and cities such as Cambodia, Washington state, California, Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal.

In the evening of Friday, October 8, 2010, some 300 people attended a lively SRP-organized dinner at a Montreal restaurant to listen to Sam Rainsy and to raise funds for the SRP campaign to bring about a democratic change in Cambodia.

Did the congress discuss how to get the president back home without another statement of "regret"?

The president's difference between "regret" and "apology" will force Hun Sen to demand a straight apology for the next trip home.

Too bad all these delegates did not fine time to protest Hun Sen at the UN last week.
They are good at meeting, though.

Don't be silly Kuoy Pichet.

At a typical SRP congress, they make statements, and pass resolutions without any discussion or debate.

SRP must be different from CPP to win.
No body wants to replace a dictator by another dictator.
What, how are you different ?
Khmers are not stupid.
