I think that one have to realize that it is not only Khmer nation that suffer authocracy...there are many more countries in the same situation as Khmer is right now. Thus, dependent on Foreigners, or international community to keep on pulling Khmer out of the same mistake over and over again is not in the US interest or the international community interest for the time being. The lack of economic growth in the US, and two major wars US fighting right now....Cambodian's problems is insignificant to US foreign policy....Khmer country does not has a significant card...for American to play. Again...bottom line, it is up to Khmer to pull themselves out for this one..
