On Tuesday, government official rejected a report published by The Bangkok Post claiming that Hun Xen will allow the opening of the border post at Preah Vihear temple after the New Year. Tith Sothea, mouthpiece of the Press and Quick Reaction Unit of the Council of Ministers, told The Cambodia Daily that Hun Xen did not raise this issue. Eang Sophallet, Hun Xen’s aid, said that he did not know that Hun Xen allowed the opening of the border gate sometime after the New Year during the latter’s meeting with Thai General Prayuth-ocha, the Thai army chief. Hang Soth, the chairman of the Preah Vihear National Authority, said yesterday that he did not receive any order to open the temple. He said that his organization did not hear anything concerning this issue.

Remembered, after Thai lost the Preah Vihear case at the international court, Thai closed their own border for all Khmer citizen.
During 1960 most of the international flights to Cambodia used to stop in Bangkok.
On the way back from oversea to Cambodia, some of our compatriots used the wrong plane, went throughout Bangkok. What the Thai has done to us. The Thai airport authority did not allow us Khmer staying in the plane and able to go to Cambodia. They just sent us back to the original departure places.
Why we care too much about the border with Thailand ? Open or close are their daily activity.

Preah Vihear temple was builded for worship of God only, therefore she should become a sacred place for worship and pray to God only. Khmer king build for God and people to pray not for tourist ,otherwise god will punish those who want to make money out sacred Preah Vihear temple.

it's good that gov't have this quick reaction committee as a gov't spokesman, etc, because you now how it is with some biased media out there, they wanted to put out rumor, wrong information or false information, etc...
it makes hun sen look like a dictator again like he is above law, etc... so, i think the decision should be based on gov't consultation, not mr. hun sen alone, you know! remember, no one is allowed to be above the law, ok! or you are a dictator again! so be careful with that direction! very unpopular, to say the least, really!
