The 1960 Shanouk was supporting Vietcong to fight South Vietnam(USA).
The 1970 Sihanouk,after Coup D'Etat,was in China;he talked from China to Khmer citizens.This was he said,"dear children,get out of cities,towns,and your native villages to the jungles to fight back Lon Nol regime.Few thousand foolish Khmer went to the jungles,but were got killed by Viet soldiers.Why? Sihanouk asked Viet,at the same year (1970);he called Vietcong support to get back by working with China,Vietnam,and Khmer Rouge.
1970 there were no Khmer Rouge,instead Vietcong were evrywhere in Cambodia.They killed and killed Khmer soldiers,polices,teachers,and Khmer citizens.
Sihanouk was/is staying with China,Vietnam,Khmer Rouge just to stay in power.finally,he loves and support Hun Sen to keep monarchy alive.
So,Sihanouk,your monarchy is over and out of date.It was your fault;you are a greedy,crooked,crony leader.
