I'm sure every reader has seen the horrific poverty and suffering that exists today in Cambodia. While children live in garbage dumps and beg in the streets for food, your beloved king and queen live a life of luxury at the expense of the government. These are not words, but facts!
The "fact" that they support a 800 year hero is nothing more than not biting the hand that feeds them and shows their true selfishness. Even the poorest Cambodian's work to take care of themselves, unlike the monarchy you think so highly of. They are no different than a leech. Stop the blood flow, and they perish.

At first glance looking at the picture, I thought PM Hun Sen is talking to an American soldier until I read the subtitle. People may holding grudges against the PM, but he did one thing right in grooming his kids. He sent his son to one of the best military school in the world and not to an art or dance school. General Manet Hun may or may not be at the top of the is his military class but he graduated from a top military leaderhsip school. On top of that, he has earned himself a PhD degree in Economics from the University of Bristol which is a reputable university in England. It was not a PhD degree that can be easily bought like some other leaders have done. I'll be very happy to have a leader with that caliber of General Manet. We need more of that type of caliber persons to run the country. I'm sad to see a lot of wealthy country leaders (not all) who fail to train their children to love the country but instead giving bad example of getting rich the wrong way. When country is prosper and people are living in harmony, the riches no need to worry about getting robbed, leaders and high ranging officials no need to worry about bad things happened to them. Getting rich is one thing, but rich the smart way is the other. Smart way means to make others happy and living in harmony.
