It is mournful and heart-wrenching to see the poor and the powerless get abused such as this. Look at the face of despair behind the fence. How can our leaders turn a blind eye on the poor such as this. I ask for your consideration of the plight of our countrymen. Please do not let greed destroy our nation. You have gathered enough wealth that will take care of your family for more than several generations. Please stop exploiting our people. Without the people, you will also be nothing. Remember, Vietnamese will not allow you to stay in power when it is convenient for them to take our country over. Please appreciate your own people. Look, our people are very enduring and passive. Where else can you find people who say very little, ask for nothing from the government, picking up ourselves while in tears, and struggle to survive despite the unbearable condition of life amidst destruction, poverty, and hopelessness?
