Freedom of Expression in Southeast Asia on the spotlight

Ou, Virak, second from right is speaking to journalists and freedom of expression advocates about freedom of expression in Cambodia and Southeast Asia during a seminar in Jakarta on Feb 9th, 2011. The Seminar titled "What Can I Say" is part of a BBC/ABC radio series which is launched on 8th Feb, 2011 in Jakarta and will start airing on ABC Radio Australia and BBC Radio World Service in four hours series.

journalist should emphasize on journalism code of ethics, i.e. when is freedom of speech become problematic. how do you differentiate between freedom of expression or freedom of speech with that of slanderiing, libel, bigotry, ranting, etc, etc...? they should discuss it all the time so people can be better educated, etc, really!
