Opposition leader Sam Rainsy, who is currently in self-exile in France, is pushing the Cambodian government to use of international mechanism to resolve the border problems with Thailand, in particular, to lobby with the signatories of the 1991 Paris Peace Agreements on Cambodia. Sam Rainsy claimed that it is time for Cambodia to end the bilateral talk mechanism with Thailand because in the past more than 2-year, there was no result at all.

The reason Mr. Hun Sen is not ended a bilateral talk with Thailand due to the The Viets have not finished planting the border posts along the Viet-Cambodia yet. Mr. Hun Sen is willing to end a bilateral talk with Thailand in 2012, the year the Viets will finish their works of planting the border posts. Mr. Hun Sen is trying to have a skirmish(s) as long as he could. He will never care about the Cambodian life. Cambodia has no benefit anything from stupid small war. Thailand is trying to take advantage on Cambodia by waging a small war along the border. The reason is to alleviate the boiling internal chaos problem inside her country. Mr. Sam Rainsy can preach to the whole world, but his speech is useless as Mr. Hun Sen continues to do whatever he feels like politically.
Thailand can come in again, if you want some more missile on your head, you think khmer scared your cardboard planes? I'm so sad to see Thai soldier ran away from their bunkers like chicken with their head cut off!...hahaha! Hey, Thai kapik! US drop millions of B-52, but khmer still alive and kick American ass so bad too!
Now Cambodian need your help, why don't you go to the UN and lobby for help for Cambodia !!!!!

true that he's not in current gov't, however as a khmer citizen in time of national crisis, everone from all walks of life can voice their support and unity for the country. that is smart and wise and eventually, people will see to it. if he stays silence, then people will always question his leadership role or leadership ability, etc... so, i'm glad to see mr. sam rainsy talks about this issue as one khmer, of course, politics aside for now! maybe by changing his strategy, who knows maybe his rating will be up again. i think that is smart move, however, not to fight each other with khmer, though!
