Cambodia on Thursday celebrated the 13th national cultural day by calling for a national solidarity to protect and uplift national cultures against any cultural wars.
The celebration was held at the capital's Chaktomuk Hall with some 1,000 participants, who are mostly artists from across the country.
It was under the theme: "Cambodia, the kingdom of cultures, everything for the safety of cultures".
Speaking at the event, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen said that the event is vital to encourage a national unity to maintain, protect and develop the country's cultural heritages.
"This year's theme aimed mainly at eliminating every campaign causing cultural war against Cambodia," said the premier, adding " at this point, I referred to Thai's attacks on our Preah Vihear temple."
"Take this opportunity, I'd like to call on our compatriots and all line ministries and institutions to join forces and closely cooperate to achieve the theme,"he said.
The premier said, "during the war on Feb. 4-7 between Cambodian and Thai troops, 414 shells of mortar and artillery fired by Thai troops had fallen on Preah Vihear temple, the World Heritage site."

Wasn' t it the same Hun Sen who said he allowed to have any foreign TV channels in any languages in Cambodia so the the foreigners working in Cambodia can watch TV with their own language?
In Yourn, no other languages allowed. On their TV, Street signs all must be in Yourn.

The west also bring freedom and democracy unlike youn bring million of their peoples and their culture our Cambodia. Look at the sculpture in Cambodia these day there are alot of youn sculpture, such as "Ta Kapong " in Chinese and youn culture and there are youn dragon and bird on the arm chair sculpture and so on. We Cambodian we don't have these we have Pkkar Chann, Absara and Angkor wat etc.
So these are the culture that we should aware of. When they spread their culture all over Cambodia than we will lose our IDENTITY. This is how they take over our country. First they take over our land and then they spread their culture all over our country and we lost our IDENTITY and become youn. THE END..

Don't you think that dog without master is harmless because nobody will tell him what to do. Other hand with master always do what the master want him to do. Is that answer you question???
Siam Dog is way better than Yourn dog, at least I can watch Siam movies.
