The special zones economic system for foreign investments during 99 years without paying the taxes is an economic swindle of the poor countries by the rich countries.

With their financial power, the Chinese community became a powerful lobby who will soon finance the political parties in Cambodia or to buy the Cambodian politicians. There they affect directly the central nervous system of political power in Cambodia.

Whether we like it or not, that is the reality. Chinese people work hard and through their sweat and hardwork they reap the benefits. Nothing wrong with that.
Look at Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, ...etc, their economy is controlled and run by Chinese ethnics. Personally, I have no problem with Chinese nationals coming to live in Cambodia. They integrate well into our society; they contribute to our economy and strengthen our culture. My ancestors are Chinese, but I consider myself as Khmer and love my country Cambodia than any other country. Sin Simamouth himself is of Chinese decendant...and so on.
We hope through our strong friendship with China, our country will be shielded from the yuons and siam greedy expansion.
Chinese made are cheap....over price and little quality....bridges and road....
There are two ways to conquer a territory or a country.
By weapons as in the days of feudalism or more subtle through the power of money that allows to buy everything.
Which small and poor country can resist the power of the money.
The result is the same: to own the coveted territory.
