Cambodia inaugurates monument to Vietnamese volunteer troops

(VOV) - A monument to Vietnamese volunteer troops was inaugurated on March 30 in Kompong Chnang province, 100km from Phnom Penh capital.
It was built on an area of over 500sq.m, replace the old one, which was smaller and beyond repair, and symbolises the solidarity and strong attachment between Vietnam and Cambodia.
The funding for construction came from the Vietnamese Overseas Association in Cambodia and Kompong Chnang’s three sister cities and provinces, Can Tho, Soc Trang and Hau Giang in Vietnam.

Volunteer my ass I meet alot of retired VC and I ask them they told me they got force by the government to com to Cambodia who ever don't want come have to pay money to the government . Only HunSen government call it volunteer.

When we have a democratic regime this monument will be destroyed immediately. We should built the monument for Cambodian freedom fighter and king Jayvarman instead.
The fucking CPP regime are being brain washed by the Viet Cong. This has to stop somewhere in the near future.
That statue need to be taken down as soon as possible because it impresses the gullible people of CPP, the ruling communist party. However, the majority of Cambodian people did not pay attention to that stupid evil statue.

Fuck these statues. In 10 years time, these statues will be torn down and you will see more lifeless & bloated Vietnamese bodies floating down the Mekong river.
I don't understand why there is such priority in erecting these ugly and ridiculous statues. If Kompong Chnang is sister cities with Can Tho, Soc Trang and Hau Giang, then those cities better quit having the Viet police and military stop their discrimination and persecution of Khmer Krom people, their culture, their society and their religion.
CPP is afraid to lost theirs jobs and money...stupid government one day it will collapse to the Khmer people.
Hun Sen and the GPP will replace king Sy ha Mouny' s picture with Ho Chi Minh's.

For the blind man, the invasion of Vietnam troops in Cambodia is voluntary. That's the reason why he has to kiss Viet ass everyday. And Viet can come to Khmer forest to cut down valuable logs, and he wouldn't do anything about it. BUT when khmer cut down small tree and to build shelter, he put them in jail or face an expansive law suit by this asshole's group (CPP).

this, i agree with! we should not build monuments to youn in almost every provincial towns and cities in cambodia, you know! that's way too extreme! i think building just one is enough, not 100, ok!
