Actually Thais died far more from traffic accident on new year than us. Even if you do it proportionally to the total population, Thailand still has higher rate of death from accident. These CPP leader sure have a small brain because majority of the roads in Cambodia are small! I notice the Cambodian people trying so hard to make better the use of these so called "good roads" which is very small and dangerous! The number one killer of traffic accident is when the cars and the moped are trying to overtake another and end up in the wrong lane and head on crash very common!
It is so hard to go fast when so many stuffs are piled up on the cars and trucks beyond maximum capacity! Can't blame on speed!
This is my suggestion to the CPP leaders with small brain. Don't just build roads but build safe roads large enough to accommodate the Cambodian people needs! The road signs, proper marking, and make sure the intersections are visible from far away distance and no tall grass, trees, houses, no park cars and moped blocking the intersection! More stop signs and traffic light to control the intersections! Time have change and the roads must change with time and the needs of Cambodian people!
Most CCP dont want to do shit to improved Cambodia Today! making money and let other Khmer people worry about Khmer.
