Cambodian soldiers who are currently defending Cambodian borders in Oddar Meanchey province called on the government to provide them with food and equipments.
Some Cambodian soldiers stationed along the war operation zones in Oddar Meanchey province and who are on war alert to defend Cambodian borders along the Dangrek Mountain in Chub Koki zone, Ampil commune, Banteay Ampil district, are calling on government officials to heed their cases and to provide them with aid. These soldiers are currently on the frontline and they are facing with severe shortage, both in terms of food and in terms of material so they may build shelters during rainy season.
A Cambodian soldier stationed along the border said on Sunday 15 May that his group, which is defending the fighting frontline, does not receive much food and fresh meat. As for their lodging inside the trenches, they also lack sleeping equipments and roof materials to protect them from rain.
The Cambodian soldier above said: “First, [there are problems] with food for soldiers who are stationed along the border next to Thailand. I am staying 15 to 20m from the border with Thailand, I am at the very frontline. Since the event [clash in Oddar Meanchey with Thai troops], we received fresh pork meat about two times only. … When it rains at nighttime, we sleep on straw right on the ground. We cannot hang hammocks because we are on the alert line.”

You all are willing to die for Hun Sen but Hun Sen does not care about you . Now its time to turn around and do something to him . If people in the whole country rise up against him , he will be gone sooner or later .
These border soldiers need boots,kevlar vest,kevlar helmets and first aid kit.
They should go downtown or go to Phnom Penh and strip off those MP who beat up unarm civilian.

Bare foot soldiers with unprotected body armor gears is for hunting animals only in America not for war as Hun Sen wanted.
The gov’t depends on the donation which comes and goes like a fire made of straw (doch ploeung chom boeung).
Without the corruption these soldiers should be well paid therefore well fed and well equipped.

The front solider has an empty backpack, while the rest has no backpack. Each soldier should has a backpack with some supplies in it which will give them more confident to do a good fight.

If I may say "this war is not about defending Cambodia from Thailand's invasion. It is about projecting Mr. Hun Sen's political campaign.". How about part of the Eastern territory! Does he care sending the our arm force to defend too?

While the soldiers are guarding the frontline with little or no food and sleeping in the mosquito infested jungle, CPP top 'bull dogs' are guarding 'srey oun' in a very warm palace with lots lots of food.

As far as I know, that is not right that you wrote Mr. Lon Nol didn't care about followers. The truth was we all as Khmers then wanted peace. The KR. propaganda was about bringing peace the Khmers in all. So we dicided not to fight each other, my father was one of them whom had to laid down weapon.

The Khmer soldiers who are well equipped and look like a pro never come to the front-line, maybe retarded Hun Sen keeps them in reserve just to protect himself in case the soldiers at the front line decide to make a coup against him.

Judging from how these unfortunate khmer soldiers carry their weapon (sling the stick over their shoulder) and walk as go-sight-seeing, like a bunch of boy scouts, tells the enemy a few things:
That they are not trained to fight like a team (seems not being aware of what and where they and their colleagues are supposed to be doing in the event that they come under enemy's surprise attack.
Their leaders (or the lack thereof),did not brief them of where the battle forward edge or rear area supposed to be, so the unit can assume the proper combat posture with the most appropriate tactical formation, where men, weapons, and heavy fire support are coordinated in such a manner as to be able fight effectively while on the move.

After everybody gone those donations were recollected and took back to the high rank officer's home or to the markets.If you all don't believe me look at the soldiers around the hun xen be dressing like.What they mean the front line soldiers don't have any things to eat 2years ago bunrany just sent them a 20lbs stack of dried beef jerk .You mean they finish already.
