KI-Media was informed that Mr. Khemara (pictured above) who was arrested and jailed since 28 January 2011 under the charge of leaflets distribution, has been released by the Takeo provincial court.
Congratulations to Mr. Khemara for recovering your freedom in yet another case of travesty of justice in the banana kingdom.

In the west no one is charged for droping leaflets. people can do what ever they like as long as it doesn't affect any body, physically. People have the right to have their own expression whenever they like. I think khmer gov't are using power and abusing their power.

I know someone who had been in Prey Sar jail. The information I got from him is terrifying.
Everyday they give a buck of muddy water for drink, shower and to flash your own shit.
The water has concentration of animals piss and poo often come from cattle and buffaloes.
If you want real water, you'll have to pay for it. The same as real food.
Many people contaminate with some sort of viruses which cause itchiness to some or all part of your skin because of the very unhygienic.
No air-condition, in a hot whether crowed cell people grasp for fresh air. Inmate take turn to fart and it was real poison in itself.
If you have some money you can buy a stone bed from another inmate who wish to sell it. Otherwise you sleep on the concrete floor.
There are more, but it's enough for now. The condition in there is very much like a death sentence.
