the rich are getting richer, the poor are getting poorer and the middle class is being destroyed. the land rights to guaranteed ownership by the cambodian constitution are totally ignored by the government so that the power elite like cpp land-thief “ly yong phat” and his big dominant corporations benefits from such land deprivation.

Today I met with Vietnamese old friends whose studied with me at the same university for years but they were/are a good Vietnamse people.
Accidentally, we met us at the coffe shop and then we have discussed about the border conflict between Cambodia and Thailand.
After a period of time they told that "Thailand will not win Cambodia because the vietname soldiers are already in Cambodia" and those
added that Cambodia to Vietnam, No longer you (me) will what is up in Cambodia. Then we have disscussed about the Khmer Kampuchea
Krom, Champa and finally China.They told me that during the Vietnam's war, the Vietnam had become a lot of new weapons from
Russia but those weapons was transported by train through Russia- Mongoly-China and then to Vietnam. The result is the following:
- 50% of new Russian tanks was changed by the expired model from China
- 70% of new Kalaschnikow was changed by the Kalaschnikow from China.
Latetly, they added that you country will be change very soon because we (Vietname) are every where in your country.
Well as Khmer; I have knew this story for years ago but now I want to hear from my old friends. AFTER THAT I HAVE BEEN SCHOCKED.

I have said this many times already, Sam Rainsy is exiled and what can he do from there. Well, he should be lobbying hard towards other countries that have there companies running in Cambodia to respect our people. This is what we really need. If you disrupt the economy, you disrupt society.
