Oh, yes, the memory of Ms. Houy's "somleng srouy sress"...

Time has passed, and "bong min arch veul vinh teh, tuos bei chea bong chong veul vinh yang nah ko doy...bong ko yum pruos neuk aun deh..."

forgive my sentimental khmer phrases. i just had a nostalgic moment. ms. Houy's house used to be near Teuk Laak market, while ms. Rous Sereysothea used to once lived along the Russian Blvd...

my first little boy crush was on the actress who played Neang Kangrey in Li Bun Yim's movie.

Huoy Meas was also a military TV caster during the early 70s- I watched her. Her natural look and voice cannot be compared-

I'm 50s. I would rather listen to the old music and song.

All of you above are correct in your assessment of Ms. Houy Meas's voice and talent in singing and moderating at the radion station.

These 2 songs with pictures of Phnom Penh before the wars makes me reminiscent of old Cambodia in the 60s.

Well, KI Media Team, thank you for the songs and video. It certainly takes my mind of our current Cambodia's problems for a while and gives me a good relaxation and hope that our Cambodia will continue to stand out as a unique nation in South East Asia and in the world.

Cambodia has a long and deeply rooted history in this world that Cambodians will learn to be united and tolerate each other in such a compromised way to not allow it to crumble or die as a result of internal fighting.
