(VOV) - Vietnam Rubber Industry Group (VRG) has launched a campaign to plant rubber trees in Sambour district, Kratie province in Cambodia.
Present at the launch ceremony on June 1 were Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister Yim Chhay Ly and Vietnamese Ambassador to Cambodia Ngo Anh Dung.
Four companies affiliated to VRG will plant 5,100 ha of rubber in Kratie to help the group fulfill its yearly target for around 25,000 ha of rubber.
VRG General Director Tran Ngoc Thuan said that the project will help Cambodia promote socio-economic development and strengthen traditional friendship between the two countries.
The group has so far invested around US$200 million in Cambodia. The rubber planting project is gaining momentum with the aim of generating steady jobs for more than 7,000 local people, building more than 1,500 houses for workers and 50 wells, hospitals and schools as well as 200km of road and 20 bridges.

Why can Ah Hun let Khmer people plant their own rubber plants on their own land. This evil yuon's slave must be removed.
In 20-30 years from now, those land belong to Youn for ever. This strategy is the same old viet strategy in Prey Nokor (Saigon) and during reigns Chey Chetha II in 1623 (as Chey Chetha II knew youn annexed Khmer land and clained the Viet to withdraw from those area, youn this land belong to us, if Khmer king wanted it back we (Viet)would fight you!). Youn use the same strategy but Khmers (esp. CPP) are so blind forgotten their history. No longer Khmer will it land for ever and this Khmer nation will softly disappear from the world map.
This is pure EVIL. During these days and age, another country namely VietNam is robbing another country, Cambodia, under the plain sight of the free world.

Khmer must unite
Vietnam can do rubber plantation in their own country, it's much bigger than Cambodia.
Where is the protection of Khmer sectors.
The corruption of the CPP is selling Khmer pride and Khmer job and Khmer soul.
Short term gain is a long term pain for Cambodia. Money come and go but Khmer pride lose forever.
Agriculture sectors are Khmer best talent, once the CPP sold all those, Khmer got nothing left to call their own.
Foreigners businessmen can come and invest in sectors such as electronics, cars and hi-tech etc, but please leave the agriculture sectors to Khmer.
The CPP should know better. What they are doing is so wrong, but who can stop this evil?
The CPP can't do anything in Cambodia, basically it depend on foreigners to do for them at the expense of Khmer people.

stupid government. I dont see any business man investment in vietnam from Khmer. Seem like VC government is investing alot in Cambodia. One who;s got the money controller the country!
