Troops and weapons of the Cambodian army have been reinforced in border areas not far from Ta Kwai and Ta Muen Thom ancient temples in Surin province, prompting fears over a new round of border fighting in the wake of Thailand's withdrawal from the World Heritage Commission.
Seven units of formidable M21 multiple rocket launchers are employed in addition to a number of them already at the ready at Ta Kwai temple, while new troops are mobilised at Ta Muen Thom, Thai military sources said.
Evacuations and emergency drills have been conducted at many schools in Surin and border provinces on a weekly basis while many schools have asked for more shelters.

so true! there's no war between khmer and siem, just siem election crisis, etc, you know! when think about this, just remember it's siem poltical crisis only, and of course, the race card will stir up e.g. siem uses khmer race card and khmer uses both siem race card and more viet/youn race card, especial sam rainsy people! all boils down to their own political crisis! be smart and good to be educated for our own enlightenment, etc, really!
the race card is nothing new in this region of asia; in a way, it is sort of outdated and probably irrelevant any longer in this modern day and age. to fully understand this asian thing, you have to go back in history, you know! although once, it was rightly to do so; however, in this modern era, i doubt it's true any more, only political crisis, you know! the race card thing is popular with politicians in both cambodia and thailand, believe it or not. they say old habit die hard, well, this is a good example of that, really! that's all!
Thailand has moved their navy ship close to TRAT, Koh Kong sea...We need to deploy plenty of SA-3 to the border just incase any attack from F-16..
