HA NOI — Party General Secretary and National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Phu Trong has affirmed Viet Nam's consistent policy of attaching importance and giving priority to developing neighbourliness, traditional friendship, comprehensive co-operation and long-lasting sustainability with Cambodia.
The Party leader expressed his pleasure with the increasing development of the fine relationship between the two countries while receiving, in Ha Noi yesterday, Sai Chhum, head of the Standing Board of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) Central Committee and second Vice President of the Cambodian National Assembly.
Trong congratulated the CPP and the Cambodian people on the achievements they have recorded over the past years.
He expressed his belief that the Cambodian people, under the supervision, management and operation of the Senate, National Assembly and the Royal Government of Cambodia, with the CPP playing a core role, will gain new achievements in implementing the Party's political platform for the 2008-2013 period, successfully building a Cambodian state of independence, peace, democracy, neutrality, non-alignment and thriving development.
Sai Chhum informed Trong of Cambodia's socio-economic, political development and achievements in national construction and development, and thanked the Party, State, army and people of Viet Nam for their whole-hearted support and assistance to the CPP and the Cambodian people over the past 60 years, especially saving the Cambodian people from the genocide regime and helping them in national recovery and development.
The CPP and the Cambodian people would spare no effort to join the Party and people of Viet Nam to maintain and foster their good neghbourliness, traditional friendship, comprehensive co-operation and long-lasting sustainability between the two Parties and the two states of Cambodia and Viet Nam, the CPP official affirmed.
Earlier, Sai Chhum and Truong Tan Sang, Politburo member and permanent member of the Secretariat of the Communist Party of Viet Nam Central Committee, held talks, informing each other of their respective Party situations. They exchanged views on international and regional issues of common concern, discussed orientations and measures to boost solidarity, traditional friendship and comprehensive co-operation between the two Parties and the two countries.
Both sides signed a cooperation agreement between the two Parties for 2011-2012.

I am Khmer and I'm not belong to any plitical party in the past and the present time as well.
Accroding to Hanoi reported redarding the ralationship between Cambodia and Vietnam in the past 60years which meant that Khmers administrators were walked through the black line which drawn by Ho Chiminch which is shemeful for all generations.
I am speaking to all Khmers people particularly,Khmer administators especially the current Cambodian gorvenment please wake up and think twice a bout nation interests instead of power and how Cambodian's future is going to be? CPP is walking through a difficult circumstances which will results a serious consequences for Cambodia and Cambodian people in the sort future.right now we can called Cambodia/Vietname but in the near future CB will has new name which is Vietname Cambodia that for sure.

Armed forces put on standby

Defence Minister Prawit Wongsuwon has ordered all three of the country's armed forces to get ready for the implementation of the national defence plan, a military source says.
The armed forces are ready to protect Thai territory along the border with Cambodia, the source said yesterday.
The army is ready to implement its Kasat Suk (Warlord) and Phichit Suk (War Victory) plans. The Suranaree Task Force serves as the focal point of these two plans.
The navy's border defence forces in Chanthaburi and Trat have been deployed to the Thai-Cambodian border in the two provinces. Navy warships have been put on standby as well.
As for the air force, it has flown up fighter jets to patrol along the borders, while all other fighter jets have been told to be at the ready.
First Army commander Udomdej Sitabutr said the 2nd Infantry Regiment is well prepared to protect Thailand's territory in Prachin Buri and Sa Kaeo provinces as well although the current situation along the Thai-Cambodian border remains normal.
The military's move came a week after Thailand failed to settle an agreement on the consideration of the Preah Vihear temple's management plan at the World Heritage Committee meeting in Paris which resulted in Bangkok withdrawing from the World Heritage Convention.
Meanwhile, Natural Resources and Environment Minister Suwit Khunkitti yesterday said Thailand could review its decision to quit the convention if Unesco agrees to temporarily remove the Preah Vihear temple from the World Heritage list.

The CPP live for the Vietcong and the Vietcong use the CPP as their slave!
How can any Khmer leaders shape Cambodia into a country the way they want it when the fucken Vietcong government is constantly looking over their shoulder and telling them what to do?
How can Cambodia become a great country when all the CPP clan is a Vietcong slave puppet! Ever since the Vietcong involve in Cambodian politic since the 1960 and Cambodia always get the raw deal. For example, the American were bombing the North Vietcong and the Vietcong colluded with the Khmer Rouge to fight the American by moving their troop into Cambodia and now the American are bombing Cambodia back to the Stone Age. Do you see now? In one political maneuvers the Vietcong were able to shift the bombing in their country back to Cambodia! This is the fucken raw deal that I am is talking about! Any fucken dealing with the Vietcong government and the new Cambodian government must remember the suffering of the Khmer Krom people at the hand of the Vietcong government oppression! If the fucken Vietcong government show no respect for the Khmer Krom people and why would the Vietcong government has to show any respect for all Khmer including Khmer Kandal and Khmer Leur.
