It was so sad to see the KPLNF had disappeared under the leadership of Mr " Clean ",Son San.
KPLNF was the biggest group of two non-communist factions....where are they now the Leaders of this group ?
Yes they have a great time right now in Cambodia, they enjoy life under the protection of CPP who call them :the opportunists & the loosers !

When I was at Nong Chan camp, I knew a KPLNF commander by the name of Rithysak. I believe he's still alive and live in PP.

He is an honest man and very patriotic. Unfortunately, some people think of him as looser because he chooses to lay down weapon and live like a normal citizen.

I agree that KPLNF should and could have become an opposition party. But, I think Sen San did not pursue that option at the time because he wanted to show people that he (and his movement) is not power-hungry or opportunists.

As the country political climate has changed for worse, it is now up to all his ex-supporters, soldiers and former KPNFL leaders to regroup and re-start the movement.

Cambodia needs more leaders such as Son Sann and Son Ngoc Thanh. Those were two great Khmer patriots of the 20th century and perhaps in Khmer modern history.

It does not matter where they came from. What matter is who is more capable. If you look closely, Viet or Siam are not so bad eventhough they stole land from us.
What matter most for us is to be able to invade them and steal land from them just like they do, if not at least we know how to protect our land, our country, but for the the most part we cannot and could not because we, especially leaders, are selfish and trouble makers, just like leaders right now- the CPP.

Dear Dr. Peng Meth,

Thank you so much for bringing these very valuable pictures to show us. KPNLF are true liberators of Cambodia. They sacrified everything, their lives, families and their future in order to fight against the Vietnamese aggressors. One of my cousin served from 1975 up until Paris Peace agreement. His wife made funeral services for him three times because of the name and description of the dead soldiers from the front matched him. When she saw him walking back to the house, she thought it was his ghost came to haunt her. I think we all should donate money to build a monument to commemorate these heroes. Or maybe we can offers some scholarships to the son and daughters of those who served. As a Khmer, I owe so much to these freedom fighters.

Thanks again for sharing with us your collection photos. These photos should be in a Cambodian history book. And I also like to express my sincere gratitude to your patriotism, your intellectual expertise and your services for Cambodia. Please disregard those ungrateful remarks against you. They have no idea how much you have contributed for Cambodia. Cambodia is very fortunate to have a son like you.

Before Son San died he came to Sydney for the last time and KPLNF supportors were gathering to meet him but he refused to meet them by saying he've got nothing to do with them.
To know more about Son San we should ask Dr Peang to reveal the story inside KPLNF, why did it fall apart ?

Was Son San related to Chavay Kuy ?
According to one of Chavay Kuy's great grant children who lives now in Lowell said the two didn't related at all.Recently Son Sobert said that he has a bloodline with Chavay Kuy (?).

I bet Dr Peang cannot say it.
Cuz he knew too much bad & good were inside the turmoil of KPLNF.
The silence is better word to cover up the failure of KPLNF.
If I were him I would reveal all trues were inside the grave of KPLNF, to let the Khmers young generation to learn the past and do the right thing in the future.

I am emotiontal to see these photos. I remember seeing my comrades dying of thirst and of hunger in the jungle fighting the the yuan occupation. I remembered having to comfort them dying for the khmer national cause and pride. I left their ashes/bones in the jungles;i cant forgive myself this. O remmebr having to come back to camp to tell their wife and kids of their father/hsundan's death or left to die. We cried, cried, cried. A week later I went back to to the battlefeild to continue the struggle for khmer freedom and dignity. My whole body is full of schepnels, am baeng kroap. I wished I had died there with them.

two friendz died on arm crying tuk, tuk, tuk, mae, tuk, water, water, mother, water, until they pased out. May their souls be at peace. I never forgot your committment for khmer national pride and cause, my dearest friends.

Hi Everyone,

One of KI-Media member who has his name in Facebook as Khmer Sovannaphumi but his real name is Pang Sokhoeun, former political asylum and now living in Sweden. He always copies news from here to post in his facebook profile to promote himself, but right now, he tries to removed and blocked anyone who dares to reveal his con activity particular he tries to hide what he has cheated his wife (Sreypov Chea) by having a girlfriend (Sokunthear Sam) behind his wife back. Now, his girlfriend had ran way from him after she knew his cheating.

A con man Pang Sokhoeun as well as KI-Media like to insult to the government officers who have affairs, but himself does even worse than other people. What a shame!

Thank you for sharing your story with us. It touches my heart deeply when reading your story. Khmer Freedom fighters like your self went through many great difficulties and sacrifices beyond imagination in order to fight against Viet invaders. As a soldiers my self, I can not imagine how could anyone serving without pay, without proper logistic supply, without adequate medical supply, and face a well equiped and in much greater number enemy, could still have a heart, a moral and a spirit to fight in such courage and bravery! It is because of Khmer people like yourself throughout past and present generations that help keep and preserve Cambodia as we know today. Please accept my personal and sincere gratitude for what you have done for Cambodia and her people. Honestly, I always dream of building a big monument dedicate it to all the Freedom fighters like yourself of the past and present generation. You not only setting a shine example to all the Khmer freedom fighters but my personal hero as well. For that, I solute you!

PS. I think you should write a memoir of yourself and your experience during the liberation. When a true democratic party gain full power, we can put it in a Khmer history text book. If you like, you can contact me at: jvarman_n@hotmail.com
