Dear Friends,
I would like to share with you these very sad news about Vann Nath. He had a heart attack during Friday night in Phnom Penh. He lost conscience and did not wake up till now. He went into a cerebral coma. He is fighting and his family with him but the doctors have little hope regarding his chance to come to back to us.
I will let you know if anything happens.

Je voudrais partager avec vous une triste nouvelle concernant Vann Nath. Il a fait un arrêt cardiaque dans la nuit de vendredi à Phnom Penh. Il a perdu conscience et depuis ne s¹est pas réveillé. Il est en coma cérébral. Il se bat et sa famille avec lui mais les médecins ont peu d¹espoir quant à ses chances de nous revenir.
Je vous tiendrais informés de l¹évolution de la situation.

Sad news...let's pray for him and his family. He's one of the most important survivors from the Khmer Rouge regime. Keep on fighting sir!

Whatever his family or friends' are doing just to be sure that he is not sent the the notorious Camellete Hospital. If you're anti-Yuon you're guaranteed to be dead.

If you have no sins you would have not been born again. You were born because you did a great sins, now you are here to pay your debts, so who are you to claim you know others' sins?

You have no authority to decide who has sins or who has not; only Almighty can.
Sickness, Old age, and Death belong to us humans and animals. Your turn will be next and it could be any time, because ours are in GOD's hands. Unless we (or you) practice higher and higher like Buddha did before he became Buddha, then we defeat the sufferings, otherwise you are one of the sinners.
who care about Vann Nath because he care about himself. I can see the picture in his room. for sure ahhhhhh. Do not discuss. let he go to where he wants. Time for young generation to work for country.

I have no idea who he is . Nice report .
He had been victimized by Khmer Rouge's tortures and eye witwess of their atrocities . He is very instrumental to International court. He has been very active and outspoken person for long time . Thus he must be deserved for immediate medical attention such as evacuation to another country in order to save his life. He wishes to see justice served before he dies .Please help him in any way we can . We pray for speedy recovery .
In regards to this tribunal, I feel hopeless and helpless . It takes so long and so expensive. Those criminals will die one by one soon . Where is the justice to victims after spending millions dollars.The world is watching.

We do sone foundrising in France to help the painter and his family, Vann Nath deserves the best health care. You can follow the situation on our blog.
There was some foundrising in Phnom Penh today too ... the more we help, the better the chances he can get over this.
The very best would be to send him to Singapour, but this needs a big amount of monay.
I pray everyday and hope for the best.
We met VANN Nath recently in Paris for his "Doctor Honoris Causa" for his tremendous work concerning the
tragical history of Khmers Rouges.
He deserves so much.
