Nicholas Griffin held by police after Cambodia return

A former Wrexham man has been arrested by police at Heathrow airport on his return to the UK on suspicion of a serious sexual assault.

Nicholas Griffin, 54, formerly from the Glyn Ceiriog area, had returned from Cambodia where he had run an orphanage.

North Wales Police would only confirm that a 54-year-old man had been arrested.

They said he has been taken back to the force area for questioning.
