In view of the major flood that affects large portion of Cambodia and her people, we would like to humbly suggest that Your Majesty cancels all celebrations to commemorate his 7th coronation anniversary. Furthermore, all government spending budgeted for this celebration should be diverted to help the needy and to help rebuild damaged infrastructures throughout the country.
Finally, spending by private companies and individuals to print useless greeting messages (such as the one above) to congratulate Your Majesty should be banned and the printing budget should be donated to the royal palace to purchase supplies for the needy people.
Donations to the needy people should be spearheaded by Your Majesty in person, rather than by CPP-nominated officials (such as Kong Sam Ol) to show the king impartiality (if there is any left). We are quite certain that Your Majesty's subjects would be very happy to see you in person outside the palace, wading in the dirty flood water just like your subjects do on a daily basis.

Did the king also celebrates its Coronation last year, with over 250 people died during the Water festival at the Koh Pich Bridge?

The king's coronation anniversary only took little effort and everyone got day off. For Om Touk festival, you need ten of thousand of people to row the boats, to transport the boats, and then you have million of visitors coming to Phnom Penh. Om Touk festival just took too much labor, time, and people away from the needed work in dealing with flood. I agree that the king is doing nothing, and he should go to visit flooded area, but I don't see this as government's fault.
This is very nice and appropriate request to the king of Cambodia. It is absolutely makes a lot of sense to divert money the help the needy by flood.

This King refused to have this celebration, but some of crooks in CPP keep doing it. The King is almost ever where in Cambodia where his poor people live. I got many hundred photos of him visiting the poor and giving food for them. He has never visited the poor with empty hands but food and clothes.
While Khmer King is with poor people, some Thai royal are at oversea escaping from the flood.
He is a useless King that was why he got no job when he was in overseas. Without his parents, he would die by starving. He couldn't even a small job to keep him alive. we called these kind of people as PARASITE.
