KI Media Team,

You have done it again! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Old songs by Sin Sisamouth, the ever-lasting king of the Khmer songs bring back a lot of childhood souvenirs of Cambodia known as a golden village (Sovanna Phoum).

What would life be if I chose not to reminisce about the good old days of Cambodia, a country that has known so much suffering plus tragedy and yet many of her children continue to love and try to defend and save her?

There is an old song about Cambodia being a golden village that school children were required to learn by heart and sing in the class.

I am wondering if anyone who has that song can send it to KI Media and request that it be posted here.

Cambodia in the old days had worked so hard to teach young children/students through songs and other means more or less to the point of indoctrination, may I say, the necessity and importance of unity, patriotism and love for the country knowing full well the dangers posed by the 2 neighbouring countries and yet ironically there are quite a few number of her own children in our modern time who are willing to sacrifice her for their own power and wealth.

It is certainly sad and tragic!

i never saw sin sisamouth as i was real small then, but i hear from older people that sin sisamouth can sing very well, but he was not that attractive, though.
