I don't think it will matter if Monique becomes so called La Reine. The royal titles are now just ceremonial titles. They have no real power to change anything in Cambodia. If she becomes La Reine, what can she do other than staying in the palace and visiting people once in while? She can't destroy Cambodia in any way.
